  1. Ive been guided by Mod on this, also it wont cost more as i know the printers (mates) and have got us a discount. It looks busy yes, but at 12ft x 6ft it wont be busy at all.
  2. Today i think.
  3. I disagree, about it being pointless bjd. Have you ever seen www. on a football banner before ? I havnt seen any. The banner isnt about bringing new members to the forum (although that would be nice), its merely a way of representing the fans from this forum on the day who cannot make it. Putting http://www.theshedend.com on it will only put it at risk of being pulled down by ground stewards.
  4. Ok gloves off, no offence, thanks.
  5. Alan as you'll probably be taking the banner, i think you should have the final say on the design.
  6. Oh my god you're right, I cant think of a thing that we could make banners to celebrate Sorry i dont understand Merseyside gibberish.
  7. Fair enough, just thought you might want the view of someone thats made many different types of banners in the past as its obvious you've never done one before. While we're at it, you might want to think about removing Roman from the banner as it could be construed as being a political banner which UEFA strictly oppose. Considering many russians dont like him you may have it taken off you by the police or entering the country. As i said, your opinion is not required, go make a banner to celebrate your 4th spot or something.
  8. Thats it, Mod can we change Loz's username to Louise until he returns lmfao !
  9. Nobody seems to know. Maybe you could phone the club and find out for us all ?
  10. Just got back from my local printers, i have a couple of mates working there, so a discount is assured. Good news, may be able to push the banner out to 12ft x 6ft, just waiting on costing. Will let you all know within the next 24 hours. Any more ideas for the banner gratefully recieved, as with the donations towards the cost will be also gratefully recieved. I personally will be putting in £20 my end. Remember the banner represents the forum and all our members, thus giving us a voice in Moscow.
  11. thats because the plaster is still damp, I'm sure it will look great with a couple of coats of magnolia. You noticed my DIY
  12. Avram to throw the cheap imitation into the MHL...Jose style !
  13. Mod did suggest giving him all the donations and he would go to Moscow instead of the banner, in return he will throw some bog roll on the pitch !
  14. Morning Gem, if you click here.. index.php Scroll down and you see a donate button, click this and fill in how much you want to donate and your paypal username and password, thats basically it !
  15. Banner donations are now being accepted, all payments to be made to Loz through Paypal. The email for your donations is [email protected] Please state in this thread if you have sent a donation (SO THAT IT GOES TOWARDS THE BANNER), you dont need to state how much youve donated, just the fact that you have donated, thanks for your help. Or use the donation button at the bottom of the homepage ! See this thread for more info. The Shed End 'Banner for Moscow' Fund. Edited by Ethicalstrategy
  16. The banner will be made from PVC (remember were plastic ) with eyelets fitted. It will hopefully be going all over the world, with the intention of taking pics of the banner in some wonderful locations around the world and the UK, starting off in Red Square Moscow.
