Lampard Vs Gerrard (not heard this one before)
The Fink Tank ratings were posted months ago and discussed at length here.

Ronaldo (apparently) VERY Hetro!!!
Well he doesn't seem to want to spend too much money he more than makes up the taxi fare given that girls from leeds prices are lower than their self esteem. You think nearly a grand a night is low? Wow...you are a high-roller Gullit! (and you're still a student aren't you?)

Liverpool v Derby
Having just watched the game on MOTD, I retract my original statement. Derby really are that bad! Babel looks impressive but I can't wait to see goldilocks Torres in the winter mud, a Rools Royce of a player, when what will be required is a Land Rover!

Football medicals - what do they involve?
They obviously don't include a drugs test. Or an IQ test.

Liverpool v Derby
Go Lofty! Let it all out mate! One of my main gripes about Scousers is that they seem to think they're funny just by virtue of the fact that they're Scousers, possessing a comedy gene only found in Merseysiders. Jimmy Tarbuck anyone? He has me rolling in the aisles

Ronaldo (apparently) VERY Hetro!!!
I've just had a butchers at the McKenzies website. Around ?150 quid for the first hour or ?800 for her to stay over. I only live 20 miles from Leeds, so maybe I'll get a discount!

Liverpool v Derby
Anyway, you can only beat what's in front of you and 6-0 against any side is quite impressive (it's not as if Derby are cub scouts!) Let's see how we do against dismal Derby before you all crucify me! I'm starting to sound like Callista.

Liverpool v Derby
Oh go on try!

Liverpool v Derby
Been listening to the match on the radio. 6-0 so far and sounds like they've really raised their game this season. Still only one goal conceded from open play and Torres playing like a dream (if you can believe the gushing, sycophantic TalkSport commentary!) We may have a fight on our hands.

Great news for England
I didn't think for a second you were being!

I thought that was going to be a post about the Young Conservatives.

1 Of the best songs of the 80's
It's okay but hardly deserving the status of classic IMO! (and I quite like that eighties vibe). This, however, is! I wish I could find the original promo, featuring a stunning model, which used to be on Youtube a few months back.

Joe vs Jose - problems...
I'm a huge Cole fan, I love his attitude and agree he can create havoc in defences. But I'm wondering exactly how much he produces in terms of actual assists, crosses etc. I've never seen those stats on him. He does create confusion, from which others often profit, but I think he needs to improve his finishing and I'm not convinced his final ball is always the correct one (although his passing can be sublime). Anyone got detailed stats?

Zat Knight arrested
Apparently he's out on bail following a raid in which class A drugs were seized. No doubt celebrating his transfer! Is there no end to the stupidity of these pampered pr*cks? http://www.teamtalk.com/football/story/ ... 27,00.html

Terry not fit to be England captain
He's obviously out to plug his forthcoming autobiography. I watched an hilarious interview with him dripping in hair products and awkwardly wearing clothes designed for far younger men. He's presumably employed a stylist who normally works on Blue Peter!

I think you can use Pandora anywhere but you just need to register using a US postcode (doesn't have to be yours...my mate used the Microsoft HQ's!)

Some of that old time ska & reggae
That King Stitt video is fantastic, never seen it before. I agree with Lofty about the early UB40 stuff. "The Earth Dies Screaming" is one of my favourite ever tracks. I saw a reggae/ska documentary recently and Prince Buster was on and still playing to packed crowds. He looked amazingly young considering he's well into his seventies.

Musicovery.com
Thanks Gem. Have you had a listened to http://www.last.fm ? It's an excellent site. Just put in a band or artist you like and it'll continuously play loads of stuff from the same genre.

One for the soulboys
I just think Brit Funk was an underrated phenomenon. Bands like "Light Of The World" and "Atmosfear" had such an original, English sound.

Looking ahead - A.Villa vs Chelsea FC
Too many jokes! Sorry, I'm being infantile, but my excuse is it's Sunday.

Don't worry, Valerie. I have it on good authority that he has a poll in the pipeline on the relative merits of popular hair products. Brian has a pole in his pipeline too but that's another story altogether!

Biggest reaction to a song
Yuck! I hate that big stadium, soft rock stuff (or whatever the correct term is). It leaves me cold. The sort of thing kids in Nebraskan malls sing along to (I assume). And don't even get me started on their dress sense! (God I'm in a bad mood today)

One for the soulboys
Anyone recall Hi Tension? The sound of late 70s all-dayers and Caister weekends. And still darn funky if you ask me! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YC_PF1BRR-o

Looking ahead - A.Villa vs Chelsea FC
JM give Alex his first start against Villa mate (along side JT). For the very reasons you've pointed out. I got the impression from previous posts that Alex isn't that quick and agile (maybe a Brazilian Huth), which may be a problem with Agbonlahor running at him in his first game. It's not as if we've got the swift Riccy to cover either.

Mourinho's Striker Conundrum [Detailed information]
Ah, the truth hurts. Wear it like a badge! Still, look on the up-side. You could be posting here: http://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/ ...makes this place look like a f*cking Mensa convention! I got banned from there for not reaching the expletives requirement of 12 per post. And also for using polysyllabic words, as it confuses the moderators (much like on here!)
