Remembering Hutch
I watched Hutch many, many times. Chelsea to the core and his throw-ins were as good as corners! Hutch, Ossie, Houseman...Matthew Harding has a great line-up for his Chelsea team in the sky.

Motm Vs Bordeaux
I'm going for Anelka, simply because his head never dropped and he ploughed a loan furrow up front, which is never easy. He really deserved his goal. Is that 3 in 5 for him now? Other than that, I thought Mikel and Riccy were both immense.

JT Cleared
I often listen to that show. What annoys me the most is the way Wright adopts the slang of a south London teenager, which he seems to think makes him funny (a bit like Scousers thinking their accent is enough to make them funny). The only person who annoys me more is the even thicker and less funny, Micky Quinn. How he got a job on radio I have no idea.

Songs About London
London Town by Light Of The World A classic to us early-80s soulboys!

Deco Named Player Of The Month
Yeah, I reckon Deco should be dropped and bring Sidwell back before our season's ruined.
-
Our Strike Force?
Anelka's always been a confidence player. This goal might kickstart his season, although 2 in 4 is fine by me. Once Deco works out what sort of service he requires, he'll get hatfulls.

Motm Vs Man City
I listened to the BBC 5 Live commentary and the phone-in after, and got the impression that young Obi was immaculate in the holding role. How good was he?
-
Essien Injury ?
May I ask what the point of our reserve team is? I'd much rather we ask a junior player to step up than start switching players like Belletti out of position.

The New Media Darlings
DOH!! I've just realised that the original post here from "Peep" was actually mine. He's my stepdad and I've been using his PC whilst I'm holidaying at his house, which automatically logged me in as him without me noticing! Not sure if a moderator can switch the original post to me instead.

Fabio Paim
Just found this on another blog... "I saw Paim last year at the Academia, and he is your prototypical Winger, very, very fast with and without the ball and has amazing footskills. Needs to work on his crossing, but has a decent shot. His strength is the 1v1 and beating defenders. His value will rise as he improves his passing and his shot accuracy..." So certainly sounds like a poor man's Robinho! Or could he be the backdoor buy of the summer?

Could This Be Kalou's Season?
I think he can become a sort of "stealth weapon" for us next season. He gets very little press and appears to be under the radar of most opponents (with the possible exception of Mr Riise!) His assist record is relatively good and he definitely improved last season. He just needs to learn when to take a defender on and when to get his head up and pass the ball.

New song
I second that! No other choice really (now Dean Martin's gonna be crooning away in my head all night)
-
Com'n Donny!
I live half an hour from Leeds and, trust me, it's very quiet round here, apart from the sound of my bellowing laughter!

Van der Vaart In, Lampard Out?
Ribery. How can we play beautiful football with one so ugly?!

Carling Cup Final
I'm stunned that Joe's not selected.

Runours no JT
Drogs and Anelka in too! Yay!
- There's only 1 Makalele.

MOTM (Birmingham CityV Chelsea)
So we've got Ballack both "great" and "poor". As I didn't watch the match, I'd love to know the truth!
-
SWP For England
He's currently our best centre-forward option.
-
Liverpool MOTM
I tend to agree with that. Often he seems to charge forward like a man with a plan, only to realise he left it in his other shorts.

Anelka and Di Santo ....
My real name is Kenwyn (without the "e" on the end), so I'll be chuffed if we one day sign Jones and he scores bucketloads...then the crowd will be singing my name! But seriously, he's hardly prolific and certainly not of the quality we expect at The Bridge.
-
Luka Modric
Apparently he's a real battler and has a howitzer of a shot, despite his slight frame. Plays on the left a lot but prefers a central role. Is very good at ghosting in like Lamps. The kind of player we've been crying out for (particularly if Lamps joins Barca)

Amy Winehouse
In years to come this will be the "legendary" night that everyone will claim they were at! Particularly so if it proves to be her last gig.

His gut wasn't the only thing that was big.
Didn't stop Linford Christie!
