kalpitv Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 Congratulations to him!! An amazing start to his Chelsea career, and perhaps our new midfield engine (an attacking one at that).
TheWestwayWonder Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 Well done to Deco (and Southgate) I never thought much of Deco before he came here, owing to him being a Barca player, and the infamy of his play, but he has really turned my expectation on its head. I wonder how many premiership newcomers have won "player of the month" in their first month in England?
gustyheadhunter Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 well done to the wee midfield maestro. well impressed with him so far and by far the best candidate for the award
Mr Chelsea Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 well done deco got win it next month now, prove he's not just a flash in the pan (to the press) which we know he isnt
PloKoon13 Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 If he hadn't scored that screamer against Portsmouth (which he'd been trying to do unsuccessfully for a while in that match...), no one would have taken much notice. I mean, he's good... but I can't let myself get caught up in the hype.

You are forgetting he was also our most influential midfielder against Wigan, then scored a beautiful free kick. Add that to the Man of The Match topped by a screamer of a goal against Portsmouth, then I don't know what you are on about. Fair enough don't get caught up in the hype, but u should give credit where credit is due.

High Street Ken Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 Yeah, I reckon Deco should be dropped and bring Sidwell back before our season's ruined.
