It may be the best result for the club but for me JT just lost a little integrity by backing down just to save an inevitable ban. Now people can say he lied, just like Jose did about Frisk . If Poll said it then JT should have stuck to his guns. I'm saddened. But I expect I'll be alone in this thought. I know he couldn't hope to win but sometimes someone needs to make a stand and although I'm relieved it's done and dusted with little repurcussion I'm still disappointed. :cry:

If we had lost it would have softened the blow, but as I've never done it before it shouldn't be hard to abstain from such such shocking behaviour in future. I doubt I'll getsuch good odds for Bolton to beat Arse because they do it so often. :cry:

I would like to take this opportunity to thank whoever was to blame for the Macclsefield goal. On advice from another forum I placed a crisp ?5 @10-1 for Murphy to score anytime as it was obvious we would concede at least one goal (to me anyway). Deep joy. NB Had we lost I would have made ?400 but I'll let that go.

No, both he AND Jimmy will be playing for QPR in the FA Cup today (or was it yesterday? :? ) and so won't be eligible for us in that competition any more. Shame.

I agree, he looks a good prospect. The others are good I reckon but Sinclair can be a little Arjen Robben type selfish when I've seen him. He is getting better though. Sahar and Woods have been scoring well. To be honest I'm not sure about Makalamby.

Jose has just said on Chelsea TV that Makalamby, Sahar, Sinclair and Woods will be in the squad against Macclsefield. Should be interesting to see who gets a game. All 3 of the outfield players are class in my opinion. NB sorry if this should be in the other thread Loz.

I'd have to disagree there. Even if he has been wronged, who in their right mind is going to take on Chelsea in a court case with our unlimited resourses? Might just as well throw his money down the drain. How do you work that out? Chelsea are paying fines left right and centre so all their resources and unlimited funds have made no difference to whether they win cases. We could probably buy FIFA and the FA with the loose change in Roman's pockets yet we hardly ever win against them. If Gallas is in the right he could easily afford to take us to court over this and look forward to a big pay day. I doubt he will because from past experience of him it's likely to be true IMO.
