Good Programme About Owls on BBC2
I didn't see the game to be honest but I got the impression that Reading didn't expect to win it so were just there to make up the numbers. Something must have galvanised them into a comeback.

So did Utd apparently, they stopped playing when you switched channels.

JT Injury Thread
Thanks Arsenal. I truly mean that.

Well, I might concede that he wasn't at his best but I maintain he wasn't as bad as you claim. As you say, it's not just his responsibilty when you have players like Ballack strolling about doing nothing.

MOTD 2 as well I should think.

I don't think jose will agree, that's why he changed him for robben...maka was nowhere to be seen as the arse swamped midfield and attacked our back four time and time again in the first half If he's brought on like for like I might agree but he brought on an attacking player so it was obviously tactical rather than because of his perfprmance.

Agree with those except for Maka, I thought he did ok.

JT is back at the stadium. What a guy!

Harsh! He didn't do anything other than the initial foul.

Carling Cup Final - Build Up & Match Thread
After watching Henry and Gallas celebrating and laughing when they scored I was hoping for a closeup when Drogs scored his second. Didn't see one though.

Frank Lampard
And speaking as someone who cringed when we bought the fat boy I have to agree with Jose.

TERRY IS FIT FOR CARLING CUP
Oops, just posted this in the Cup forum. Is it Jose winding up Wenger do you think? Its a hell of a quick recovery. I hope it's not going to be a repeat of JFH in that FA Cup final.

Surely it's Jose winding up Wenger?

Makelele won't leave Blues
Quite agree, but if this season is anything to go by then it looks like he is being used more sparingly and kept for the bigger games to spare his old legs. Mind you, lately he's been needed a lot more due to injuries to the young uns! I just think that if Diarra keeps on the way he is then we could see the lions share going to the youngster next season (unless he leaves of course). Don't get me wrong, Maka is the biz at what he does and I'm pleased he'll be around the place.

http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hli ... eave+Blues Can't see him featuring too much next season to be honest but he'll be good to have around the place.

Michael Ballack
I have to say I am encouraged by the fact that my general opinion on this bloke seems to be born out by so many others on here, perhaps I know what I'm talking about after all? I watched last night and tried desperately to look at his positives... I became more and more frustrated that I couldn't see any and ended up shouting at the telly again.

Diarra eyes Blues stay
That's some high praise! I think he's good and if he becomes even close to what Maka has been for us, I'm thrilled. I just think that he's got a little more in his locker than Makalele. He can shoot for a start. It'll be a while before he'll have Maka's vision but it will no doubt come with experience.

A Leeds fan was complaining about it, as apparently the physio was theirs.

Reserves win away against Villa
Unfortunately the game wasn't televised due to tech probs so I didn't get to watch this. Shame, sounds like we played well.

Anybody know Neil Barnet's take on things?
I don't think Neil's been doing much on Live lately as he's been away with the team the last few times I've watched. Gary wassisname's been doing it I think. I haven't seen the last one but I will watch tonight to see what he says on Big Match build up.
