Did anyone else notice that Drogba really wasn't taking the game seriously? He couldn't be arsed to get into scoring positions very often, and when he did, he gave some half-assed attempt. He seemed to have more fun dribbling players then actually playing and wtf was up with that 50 yard chip attempt with the outside of his foot. The only good thing I can say were his sit pieces were actually pretty good and he tracked back and won the ball quite a few times. I just can't help but think if he actually put his game face on he could've had at least a brace easily.

I wanted to vote for John Terry because of that phenomenal assist (JT the playmaker) but even though Terreh did play amazingly throughout the game, Mikel really deserves MOTM. Hats off to him. I've been really impressed with him thus far this season.

I'm thinking Yossi, Ramires, and Kalou will all be subbed in at one point, though I'd much rather see Zhirkov than Kalou. Zhirkov deserves a shot!

I recall reading that Wolves didn't want to match Chelsea's evaluation of 5 million pounds so he just went on loan. I really don't understand what you have against Bertrand. Every time I've seen him, he's impressed me.

I don't know which Mikel you've been watching because he's been phenomenal. I remember one stray pass in the West Brom game and towards the end of the Wigan game (I think we were up 4-0 at the time) he started to get lazy. Let's be a bit more open-minded, shall we?

So Matic and Rajkovic got sent out on loan to Vitesse in Holland.

To be honest, I'd much rather him than Burdisso or Demichellis and he'll also come much cheaper. I don't think I even need to go into age or that he'll help out with the home-grown rule. Since Ancelotti seems to be going after center backs (or so the rumors say) then that must mean that Bosingwa is going to be out for a while or that he'll need a long time to regain fitness, meaning Ivanovic will have to deputize at right back. In that case, we really only have Bruma as back up for Alex and Terry, or I guess we could use Paulo and then slide Ivan in. Regardless, I'm not really confident in either for big games. So yeah if we can get him cheap, why not?

I like Hazard. He's currently my best player along with Sanchez, whom I also like, particularly because I got him cheap because they were interested in Matic so I did a trade.

On another note, not to come down on Anelka or anything, but has anyone else noticed he's like an offside machine? Built in a secret government lab or something.
