  1. Yeah Tuchel has to shoulder some of the blame too. Can’t blame him for what Havertz and Jorginho did but some of his decisions were just odd. No wonder Giroud and Hudson-Odoi looked off the pace, barely played them for two months. Gilmour sub was bizarre. If he’d had any balls, he’d have hooked jorginho instead.
  2. He wasn’t great but I wouldn’t be starting on Hudson-Odoi as my first moan. Havertz and Jorginho fcuked it. If Kai scores that sitter, it’s a comfy night. Might have still worked out that way had Jorginho not been a complete idiot.
  3. I reckon this is part of our cunning plan to keep that sh*te manager in a job.
  4. Can’t believe we have lost to the worst arsenal side for decades three times in nine months
  5. It was more the arrogant attitude of some scott that I’m referring too, those that were implying a win and top four was in the bag.
  6. Gilmour was Chelsea’s best player that half.
  7. Wonder what all those who were downplaying Utd chucking the game against Leicester last night are thinking now?
  8. Exactly. Some are acting like top 4 is in the bag when it isn’t.
  9. So Wally has brought on 3 of his best players in the second half...make your mind up. Doesn’t make sense to Chuck this game with a crap team to rest players and then bring them on anyway
  10. People questioning why it’s a bad thing if Leicester win this faux pl game...not only do we drop behind them in an unjust way, they also will get a big lift ahead of playing us in the cup final and pl match. If they’d lost, as they surely would have done in normal circumstances, we’d be taking on a deflated group. I hope Utd somehow scrape an equaliser at least.
  11. I know what you mean but You’re assuming we’ve booked our place in it. We haven’t. It could still go Pete tong.
  12. Not a surprise but surely Utd have to be fined for that line-up. Expected changes but that’s taking the piss.
  13. It’s also the impact it has on their finances, ability to attract players and the Thursday-Sunday schedule which always affects clubs.
  14. Better for chelsea for Liverpool to be in the europa Lge. Finishing second means sod all.
  15. Huge weekend for chelsea in top 4 race. Due to goal difference only one win needed from last 3 to guarantee finishing above West Ham, Everton and sp*rs. Hopefully Utd do us a favour v Leicester and Liverpool this week.
  16. Watching it live I definitely feared the worst. It was on seeing the replay I saw what Sterling did. Still it could have been given on another day. Mind you, given Sterling should have been sent off, you could argue chelsea were hard done by in the first place.
  17. The scary thing about him is he gets a positive response from everyone, even players he’s leaving out who maybe pissed off. Look at what Ziyech, Alonso, Gilmour and Callum, off the bench, did today. Only Abraham hasn’t really had a chance to respond (don’t count Emerson - although he still scored v Atletico)... hate to say it, but we should have binned frank sooner
  18. Deserved and fantastic win IMO. Sky seemed butt hurt about what happened...all about city winning the pl today and we spoiled the script. Remember Tyler saying Late on that ‘guardiola is letting the handbrake off’ as if citeh had deliberately been underwhelming rather than chelsea, particularly in second half, being in control. huge victory for top 4 race. Got to make it count at home v arsenal and Leicester now. Can hopefully get it done and dusted rather than sweating at villa.
  19. But then went off on one about how sterling should have had a penalty after saying Jesus one was a pen too. In both occasions the citeh players played for and engineered the contact. That’s not saying it wasn’t clumsy on both counts, but I’m fed up of attacking players doing this. It happens in every match. You can see Sterling slow down, put his body in front of Zouma so he starts to run into the back of him and then he flops over. the Jesus one was also a disgrace cos Taylor didn’t give chelsea a chance to get Zouma on for Christensen. * this was meant to be a reply to ballack and blu.
  20. They’re so sh*t...honestly, it’s amazing they have won so many cups in recent years. Haven’t been a side of any note for over a decade.
  21. If we go out Wednesday, which is a real possibility, we shouldn’t be too down. It’s remarkable Tuchel picked up the mess we were in and got us this close.
  22. All part of the Bt w**kfest. Dias is very good, Man City are a very good team, but would be nice if bt could cover games with a bit of perspective. I’ll keep dreaming.
  23. City are reacting like they’ve won the cup already.
  24. Bayern are a better team than PSG, although a little questionable at the back. I didn’t see the tie, think it clashed with Chelsea, I can’t remember. But I do seem to recall the first leg being full of stats showing Bayern dominated but somehow lost.
