Following our Nearest & Dearest Rivals 2020/21
They play incredibly dull football and are level with newly promoted leeds. Yet a lot of their fanbase think he’s amazing. Talk about deluded.

It was going to take something to threaten the ineptitude of Chelsea’s performance...I think arsenal have genuinely threatened it just now.

Chelsea v WBA (PL) SAT 3rd Apr 2021 12:30 GMT
Well how typical of chelsea to fluff their lines. That loss was all about attitude. They turned up expecting West Brom to roll over. Shocking stuff. A reminder of why certain players just aren’t good enough to play for chelsea no matter who is in charge.

Really not sure what result from arse v Liverpool will help me sleep tonight after the shambles earlier. Probably a draw. Ideally both would lose

I agree with that. Still think 13-15 (not including how it imploded in last four months) is quite an underrated period of his at chelsea. Team played great football most of the time, won a lot of big games and last occasion (hopefully until now) we came close to winning the cl.

Chelsea v Atletico Madrid (CL) Wed 17th Mar 2021 20:00 GMT
bizarrely the same media pundits saying the way rudiger went down was a disgrace, made a meal of it etc are the same ones saying Carrasco should have had a penalty for falling over after a very slight grab by dave.

Final rant from me...as much as Jose is rightly copping it tonight, I think tonight says more about the spurs players. They got sponny on way to reaching cl final two years ago and became deluded under poch, thinking they were a big team. But you’re only a big team if you win something and they haven’t even managed a league cup in what is supposedly a golden period. They think they’re better than they are. As we know buck stops with the manager...but they can get someone else in with this lot and they’ll still fall short. Weak mentality.

The europa league is average period. I’m obviously happy we won it twice but it’s full of dross. Just look at who we beat on the way to winning it in 2013 and 2019. That’s why it makes me laugh when I hear it used as an argument that Benitez and sarri did a great job.

Easy to underestimate the job he did at chelsea with hindsight and inter milan. He was a great manager...just cos he’s not what he was doesn’t mean all his achievements should be forgotten

Jose really has lost it...mad to see a guy who was so brilliant for Chelsea be so mediocre now. the sad thing is he sold his soul, his status with the majority of fans who still appreciated what he did in winning three titles etc, to go to the enemy. And for what? he has got another pay check out of it but he’s lost a lot more than just his reputation as a coach.

Official Thomas Tuchel *Now Sacked*
I know what you mean. I argued and backed Lampard for a long time, I still think last season was a very good achievement. But now sentiment has been taken away and Tuchel is impressing with every game, he is highlighting the difference a top coach can make. Once Chelsea could make signings, Lampard didn't seem to know what to do with them or how to handle a bigger squad. The performances of the players are at a different level. I'm sure it will go tits up under Tuchel one day because it always does but from the season in danger of imploding under Lampard, he has made the team a genuinely good one in just two months with hardly any time to work on the training ground. Very impressive.

err...anyone starting to wish we'd made the change sooner? Sorry but this coach is in a different league to what was going on before this season.

Chelsea v Atletico Madrid (CL) Wed 17th Mar 2021 20:00 GMT
I’m starting to get a bit nervous now. Just think last night was such a dullfest, chelsea will try to make amends and provide some drama. Can’t see them making it look as easy as citeh made it. I don’t think we will win the competition but reaching the last 8 would be a pleasant change. It’s been a while.

Eden Hazard - Chelsea Legend
It’s really sad. The game has been deprived of seeing one of the great players for two years. Don’t understand why Anyone would poke fun, laugh at/criticise him

Don’t like arse or utd ever winning but probably the best results for us. I was leaning toward a draw for each but at least nearest top 4 challengers are falling further behind (if Utd hang on)

Was bemused when Bt sport were scaremongering earlier saying if teams win their games in hand, chelsea will be seventh. Big if based on this season, like they haven’t been paying attention over the last six months. Everyone is dropping points. We were never going to win every league game...nor will anyone else.
