Robben
neil barnett has said on chelsea tv that robben has had a scan on his ankle and it's not as bad as first feared and he won't be out for too long...didn't put a time on it but sounds like a couple of weeks
-
team is in
barnett just said that drogba and carvalho both feeling unwell even though they're starting...drogba didn't even train yesterday

CFC The Most Unbalanced Squad In The EP ?
the question is not the size but the strength of the squad...we're relying on young guys like kalou and mikel, whereas the last two seasons we'd have seasoned pros coming in...everyone spotted the lack of centre halfs at the start of the season, but we have been effectively a further two men down due to ballack's and sheva's disappointing form

Robben
you have got to admit thought that feigned or otherwise it doesn't seem to take much to put him out of action for long periods. to be fair he broke his foot on two occasions in his first season due to awful tackles...yes he seems prone to hamstring strains etc which is frustrating but on saturday he landed badly and turned his ankle over...he has been rather unlucky...but if the fans and jose are frustrated, imagine how he feels
-
Robben
can it just be said that robben didn't feign injury or be weak...he is out for several weeks after straining ankle ligaments...no wonder he is pi**ed off with Jose's alleged reaction

Arsenal v Manchester United
we sold gallas and huth in the summer and only brought boulahrouz in, so we were one centre half down...boulha has been injured for the past couple of weeks, carvalho was ill and terry, we all know...even if we had a fourth centre half at the club we still would have had to play essien or ferreira at the back against liverpool...why Terry is such a big miss is not only that he is one of the best defenders in england (if not the best), but he is the leader of our club, the one that sorts everything out, the morale, the tactics on the pitch...as sad as it seems to admit it, he would have ensured the players would be playing with a lot more belief and fight than they are now
-
Arsenal v Manchester United
yes but new bloke the damage may have been done already with our key players out...look united have done well this season, no doubt, but we are talking about why we are not doing as well as we have done the last two seasons
-
A few observations...
next time we play sheff utd we should sing: 'one keith gillespie'...that tw*t (Hunt) has had it coming
-
Arsenal v Manchester United
Not only United mate you lost aswell, perhaps both teams are guilty of blowing it but you're not the ones with all the injury problems to key players and in-fighting between the manager and the board...chelsea have never looked weaker in the last three seasons, you must admit that, while you have been (I hate to admit it) playing good stuff more consistently...
-
Arsenal v Manchester United
new bloke put a brave face on it all you like, but united keep blowing their chances to wrap this title up...you should be well clear by now and yet it's still only 6 points...to be fair united's inability to pull clear is the only thing giving me hope what with chelsea imploding on and off the pitch...but give us our first choice team and there wouldn't be this gap (following jamie redknapp's mantra)
-
i suddenly felt better
do you think watford manager aidy boothroyd is saying, if only we weren't complete and utter shi*e we'd be staying up this year
-
Arsenal v Manchester United
let's move on from the depression of yesterday...this defeat for utd is a much bigger blow to them than ours was to us...as jose said if the gap is still six pts after his weekend he'd take that and let's be honest united have failed to take full advantage of our terrible problems with injuries and form...hopefully this will give everyone at chelsea from the players to the fans (including myself) a sense of renewed belief and this will dent united's confidence for sure...

Arsenal v Manchester United
I'm sick of jamie redknapp saying if only liverpool hadn't got off to a bad start to the season, if only arsenal had won the games at bolton, sheff utd they'd be right in the title race...it's the most useless point ever...every team can say that, although it seems when we say if only jt, cech, cole etc wasn't injured we get mocked and get no sympathy
-
Arsenal v Manchester United
so why are you giving it large on here then...

YES GET IN.............HENRY 2-1...we maybe still in this after all- Arsenal v Manchester United
yes get in...van persie, van persie...still think united will win the league though- Liverpool
we had no-one else to play there killbill and the midfield was bypassed anyway due to liverscum playing the long ball...as for lack of chances created, every time we play liverpool it's a very tight game and basically whoever scores first wins the game...they beat us in champs league and fa cup by playing very deep once they took the lead and they are very hard to break down...we have fielded much better teams only to see them struggle against them so it was no surprise we didn't do enough with yesterday's line-up- Liverpool
I know where you and nibs are coming from...his tendency to get injured is annoying and I think that has played a part in him not performing in enough big games, either because he's not there or he's playing his way back to form and fitness...I think we have to be honest though and admit there are very few top quality wingers in the game...we bought swp and he's struggled...joe's great but he's not really a winger...I'm just speculating that even if we got rid of robben, we'd still find it hard to find a replacement who delivers against wigan let alone liverpool- Liverpool
just seen some of the back page headlines on sky and the media of course are celebrating chelsea's demise...as depressing as it was earlier, i'm not going to let them or the team's performance today get me down...I still say put terry, carvalho and maka in that team, allowing essien to play midfield, the game would have been completely different...these guys will return and if the prem is not for us we still have three cups to go for this season...we should get to carling cup final this week and soon we will have champs league again, which has seen some of our best performances this season...chelsea tv reran the barca game at the nou camp the other day and I was reminded how brilliantly we played that night...liverscum could only dream of playing that well...if we can get our first team fit we still have a lot ot look forward to this season- The most disappointing Chelsea XI of all time...
love the way gubba loses it...i think he is a chelsea fan so he found it hard to keep cool...still can't forgive rougvie for ruining the comeback- Liverpool
I will change tack slightly and ask you and Just (if he wants to participate) what you want to do...do you want to sell robben and if so who would you replace him with? - Arsenal v Manchester United
