  1. Cech 7 made some good saves and collected a number of crosses Diarra 8 this guy is top class...played on a yellow for a long time but grew stronger as it went on Terry 7 deserved a 10 just for bravery but seemed to struggle with ankle injury Carvalho 8 Led the defence today and made an awesome tackle in the box against aliadiere Bridge 7 struggled against pace of walcott at first but had him under control in second half Maka 4 one of his worst performances in Chelsea shirt...is age catching up with him...rightly subbed Lamps 6 off pace, was he still ill, hit one great shot off the bar Ballack 6 passed the ball well, but offered nothing to help the defensive shape Essien 8 a rock in midfield and then at the back Sheva 6 was going to be a 5 but actually got better as time went on and unlucky to hit the bar Drogba 8.5 MOM two great finishes and gave senderos his traditional beating Subs: Robben 7 helped change the game, great pace and great assist for winner Mikel 6 was doing well in midfield, unlucky to get sent off Kalou not enough time to deserve a rating
  2. Scan is good and he will travel back with rest of the team tonight...thank f*ck
  3. He also said we won three points today. I would hope he knew who decked him......but your right And Starman that gets my vote as well. Really didn't need to see that in the mood I was in from seeing JT laid out like that. Still, we were all upset I s'pose chelsea tv say it was eboue that decked bridge
  4. chelsea tv saying he's having a scan but it's not as serious as first thought...i suggest someone getting some anadin though
  5. i'll add bridge to that list...he struggled against walcott's pace at first but had him in his pocket the second half and was partly key to us turning the momentum in our favour in last 30 mins
  6. just seen replay of incident that led to bust-up...all mikel did was pull arse player's shirt...the arse player then lost it and went for mikel who did nothing but push him away in the chest...then arse players went steaming in and lamps tried to calm it down only for fabrgas and adebayor to go nuts...the arse youngsters got plenty of praise for their football, what about their ill discilpine
  7. i thought fabregas had to go...not sure what mikel did apart from the inital foul..the arse players just lost it and went for him
  8. was that interview on radio kev as sky haven't got to the bottom of it...too busy consoling wenger and co
  9. chelsea fighting against all the odds, injuries, woodwork, sh*t* commentary...this is chelsea under jose
  10. what did mikel do to get sent off?? looked like arsenal's kids throught their toys out the pram cos they're bad losers again
  11. heard a lot of talk about arsenal's youngsters, not one word about the superb diarra
  12. even drogba's superb goal was down to arsenal's tiredness according to gray...can we do anything right?
  13. soory that spell hitting the woodwork is still going
  14. there was a spell this season where we'd hitt he woodwork every game, now we get a serious injury every game!
  15. sickened by terry incident...are our players shattered from porto? they just look so heavy legged,...a lot of the arse players haven't played many games of late so are fresher
  16. maka off for robben, right decision I think...maka was very unlike maka...no injury, it was tactical
  17. If you can get it, listen to Smooth FM (102.2). Kerry Dixon is commentating and it's utter bliss compared to all the others. The mug on TalkSpite continually going on about Arsenal's "brilliant young guns" was doing my head in. I would but normally there is the timing issue when combining tv and radio...so you hear what's happening before it happens, so i will stick with the nob-ends
  18. to be fair to ballack, he has passed the ball well at times and set up the equaliser...but he is a passenger when it comes to defending and with maka and lamps looking slow due to age and maybe illness and terry obviously not 100 per cent fit we have struggled at times...i have never seen us look so open and disjointed...some of the credit has to go to arsenal, but we just didn't look our normal selves in the first half
  19. has he said anything positive about us yet? This is one of his most one-eyed commentaries I've heard...even by his low standards! That carvalho tackle was awesome, all he does is slag aliadiere off!
  20. The pro-arsenal/anti-chelsea commentary was doing my head in Maksimov...mind you we are losingt he midfield battle...maka is lookin his age out there and combined with a pedastrian ballack defensively (offensively he's passed quite well) we look vulnerable...maybe lamps is still ill too cos he looks slow...we just didn't seem as hungry as arse and half-time has come at a good time for us...maybe a change in tactics is required to get us more solid and get more of the ball
