  1. is this sky sports i'm watching or arsenal tv?
  2. gray's also going on about how we just hit long balls and arsenal just try to pass it all the time...still our midfield doesn't seem to be giving the back four any protection...there seems a big hole between back four and the rest
  3. even gray didn't say it was a pen and he's bleating about drogba being offside
  4. no pen...diarra didn't touch him...what a joke gray saying didier was offside...he was clearly level...biased prick
  5. sh*t...0-1...can someone get some decent studs in our players boots
  6. what a joke...the players are coming out...i worry for the fans on the delayed trains...i'd be pis*ed in both senses of the word
  7. predictably the start of sky's coverage is all on arsenal...had to laugh though in their buildup montage when they had the dance cover of Pink Floyd's 'Another Brick in the Wall' and as they showed wenger's face it had the lyric: 'Hey teacher, leave them kids alone.' Perhaps not the best timing considering all the rumours
  8. cat deely for me...she's so sugary sweet she makes me want to barf
  9. don't read any match previews in the papers, it's enough to make you puke...arsenal greatness, kids raised in north london against the financial beast that is chelsea
  10. the way that united are reacting it's as if they think the title is over...sure their luck points that way at the moment but there are still 10 games to go and you think their luck has to run out some time...mind you opposing fans probably said that about us the last two seasons...still i remember arsenal's fightback a few years ago and utd crumbled...means we can't drop any points now.
  11. incredibly captain marvel has recovered and will be in the squad to play the arse tomorrow...more importantly it means he will also be fit for title run-in and champs league as well (touch wood he doesn't get any other injuries) http://www.chelseafc.com/xxchelsea18070 ... _2209129_0
  12. united outplayed by fulham and steal winner at the end with deflected shot from ronaldo...it's games like this that just make you think their name is on the trophy...they're having all the luck this season...what a contrast in our fortunes against fulham...they get a deflected winner in last five mins, ashley cole hits it against essien at sb and we drop two points...oh as for united's so-called superior football compared to us? I just saw them hoof long balls for most of the game
  13. robben is in the evening standard today saying he was pulled out by jose as a precaution with sunday in mind and should be fit for carling cup final
  14. i'm not going to be quite so complimentary...great result for sure, but they definitely played a team there for the taking last night...when we played them we played much better football against a team at the peak of it's powers...all the stuff behind the scenes at barca now is much more serious than bellamy's little spat. I would rather chelsea play barca in the next round than liverpool if we get through...liverpool have the ability of scrapping and winning games ugly...like 2005
  15. after last night I stand by my uefa/premier league handicapping system!
  16. The Brit replied to c3blu's topic in General Chelsea FC
that's funny!! Could apply to ronaldo as well to be fair! as for robben, in the evening standard he says he should be ok for sunday and was subbed by jose as a precaution
  17. funnily enough i watched green street tonight having taped it on sky plus...i found it hilarious...e-lijah wood looked about as intimidating as a cub scout!
  18. I was there that day so I'm pleased to see one of the medals is still in a real chelsea fans' hands
  19. revenge...how about repeat of 4-0 in 2002?
  20. I actually think uefa and the premier league have set up a handicapping system for chelsea whereby we can never have a proper back four again to give other teams a chance
  21. judging by the vibes in the press it's serious enough to be worried that he will be out for a few games....it just sums up the lack of luck we have had this season... the amount of injuries will be a key reason if do lose out to united in title race
  22. hope ashley isn't too bad, but at least Chelsea's best left back will get to play a lot more now
  23. the headline now will be: Chelsea fail to close gap on United!
  24. still it is important we beat blackburn tonight...to keep a distance ahead of liverpool and within reach of utd, who will surely beat watford
  25. The Brit replied to a post in a topic in General Chelsea FC
I think he should be told the holding role will be practically his from next season...maka is starting to show his age and I think essien is wasted there, he needs to be allowed to charge up the pitch and I don't think it's his strongest position...diarra looks quality and definitely the next maka...i believe the latter still has a part to play at the club but should be gradually phased out over the next two years
