February 5, 200718 yr Jose could just be pulling a Red Nose. We're in the crucial part of the season, lots of games, one fit left back, important points needed... oops, looks like Bridge just got a slight knock. Luckily he'll be back for Chelsea, funny eh?

February 6, 200718 yr judging by the vibes in the press it's serious enough to be worried that he will be out for a few games....it just sums up the lack of luck we have had this season... the amount of injuries will be a key reason if do lose out to united in title race

February 6, 200718 yr isn't boulah close to being back, I am sure he can play out there if needed. Or else how about Morais or even, if it came to it, Elmer?

February 6, 200718 yr Author I may be wrong, but i am sure he pulled up during a training session, so i would imagine he had every intention of participating in this match.

February 8, 200718 yr Uhoh... Ferreira at LB isn't it? I have a feeling Jose would prefer him over a young player like Elmer.
February 8, 200718 yr just reading this, isnt there a rule about players pulling out of England games not being allowed to play for 4 days for their club? I thought this rule had been brought in to stop Fergie pulling his players out of internationals all the time like he used to.
February 8, 200718 yr might be, but Bridge wasn't withdrawn. He was training with England when the injury occured so he was sent back to Chelsea. Anyway, he will miss this saturday's match and probably the FA cup tie the following saturday.
