Let him go. The same problems will exist. The problems are systemic. A team of full of aging players without balance. The problems are bigger than Drogba. IMHO. He's just the press scapegoat for all the teams ills. Someone somewhere will blame today's Southend deficit on him. He was a distraction or something alongs those lines.

Could it be the cumulative affect of too many matches played by the boys? When you think of the total number of games played over the last two years (Premiership, needless Internationals, Euro Qualifying matches and Cup matches League, FA, Champions League and World Cup) our lads surely have taken part in more matches than those of any other club. Or it could be that huge salaries and being deemed an untouchable could lead to a lack of focus. I prefer to believe it?s the former.
