  1. I felt he escaped a lot of criticism today. Good play on the goal but besides that his first half performance was shocking, gave the ball away so many times. He can't seem to keep the ball well or do anything with it under pressure. If you watched the Spurs match today and you saw what the likes of Lamela and Eriksen could do in such tight spaces Arsenal were not giving them room however they were still able to keep the ball and link up play regardless of the tight space. Oscars touch seems to let him down massively, especially in the centre. He does lack flair also I find. I wont compare him to the likes of Isco or Silva, they are very creative players, Oscar is different. Oscar does run the game when he's actually playing well and up to top standard. However that's actually a rare thing, and I actually mean that, it's rare he will keep the ball efficiently in the tight areas and expose the cracks in the opposition. His pressing and play against Swansea was fantastic, he is good at pressing, but it's rare that you get that play from Oscar consistently, and that for me is what does let him down as a player.
  2. Good game, but I don't see how this surprises anyone really. All he really needs is competition, he's always working hard, that's what you will get from him, he is also a good footballer. Now that he has competition though he knows he has to bring more to the matches, hence why he was trying to beat the fullback a few times and went for the shot when he was in a decent position. The first 4 months Willian was here was the best of his Chelsea career, when he had competition. He is a very useful player, he might not be worth the price tag but I hope he stays here, he is a real asset to the side we just need more variety and I think Cuadrado might be able to bring that. Obviously it wasn't working out with Schurrle and Salah.
  3. Of course, if one game is going to change your mind about something then why should your opinion hold any value in the first place? How many people written Drogba off and wished he never came back after the Shalke home game was it? When he missed a good amount of chances. Then he scored against United and people were licking his arse again, football fans are always so fickle. I stand by what I said and I'm glad he is here, I think he will prove very useful this season.
  4. Just saw on Sky "Gerrard has to settle for a point" f**king hell how long does this have to go on for.
  5. I think Remy will leave due to not being an option, he is just backup. If Costa is fit he plays, going to be hard for anyone to take his place here.
  6. Wasn't too impressed with Ramires but 3 points here is good, no way we should have been losing this. Not saying we shouldn't expect a fight, Villa were always going to show up, but we should overcome them, there probably wont ever be a better time. The way we conceded was absolute gash but Ivanovic made up for it with a sublime goal, quality player he is. Shame about Drogba though, he put in a dreadful performance.
  7. It also works both ways, people overreact on both sides. I said what's going on with courtois lately, immediately Loz thought I was saying he has had a sh*te season. Seriously though he looked really bloody shakey today, not sure about conditions but he looked nervous, something got to him, after that City error it looked quite similar, he wasn't dealing with crosses. He did that 3-4 times I believe? obviously something was wrong.
  8. I was just about to post this, what a f**king bell end he is, Spurs got lucky? He sounds like a 8 year old glory fan, nob head.
  9. 5 minutes, 2 players down, oh jesus, squeeky bum time lads.
  10. f**king pathetic, right well at least they got it early, should have enough time.
  11. He had a great moment which lead to the goal, besides that his sloppy passes have cost the play a lot, Villa have had a lot of counter attacks due to our sloppy play. We have dealt with them well though.
  12. Yes definitely, I think he has played awful all season.
  13. Going to say it but I'm not happy with the performance so far, we should be hurting them a lot more but again we can't keep the ball. Terrible performance by Drogba, wouldn't surprise me if he is off. Ramires not the greatest of performance, I'm worrying about him with that yellow, Matic and Willian have been top class. Hazard a few sloppy passes for his standard but still he looks the most dangerous as always going forward. Oscar and Drogba are letting the attack down, Oscar has to be quicker in his play, touches are letting us down, he can't seem to be efficient enough in the tight areas when that's the quality top teams have to have. Anyway regardless, I think getting the goal was the most important thing and I think we will come away with a win here, however we still need to improve.
  14. Why all these complaints on Ramires and Drogba? Oscar has been on par with Drogba if not worse.
  15. This referee is going to have a nightmare I can tell already. What a soft yellow that is.
  16. I've realized I've completely contradicted myself considering my pessimism with Fabregas, anyway f**k it, time to get the game on the go.
  17. Quit the pessimism, we should win this, I'm definitely confident about it. Even without Fabregas we shouldn't be struggling an awful lot against this side. Ramires will certainly be much better than Fabregas when it comes to counter attacks anyway.
  18. The 4-1 or 4-2 City scoreline at the Etihad didn't reflect on the performance either, Spurs actually gave them a really good go just didn't finish there chances. Had it not of been for the brilliance of Sergio Aguero, I think Tottenham would have had it. Still though Spurs are off and on, I still think Arsenal will grab top 4 and I don't think Spurs will go on from here any better.
