  1. He was the chap whose father said that young players should never ever sign for Chelsea as when he did trials here he wasn't deemed up to snuff, doubt he'd be up for a move unfortunately.
  2. I think Yossi and McEachran can both provide a lot of creativity to this team, and with Mata this line-up would be creative with either. Ramires workrate and the seeming need for a DM mean that there's really only one place on the team for a midfielder and it's tremendously difficult to say whether resting our talismanic CFC legend will get us results. How do you say to someone who always gives their all and has always given results that you won't be needed as much in future. It's a very delicate situation really.
  3. Okay it's that time of the Transfer Window again. It's Seany's quids in!!!! at 2/1 there will be a move announced at some time before 7pm on the Chelsea TV station, as this programme is shorter I imagine it will be a less exciting or anticipated move in or a transfer out/ and at 1/6 for the transfer window closing show at 10 pm I expect Chelsea FC to make a signing or just talk about other teams signings!!! Either way it's an exciting night in store for you pesky CFC fans out there. Note no actual bets will be taken.
  4. It's not coming. It's coming. Or is it cup tied Ribery or Alvaro Pereira. Who knows, and all of our hearts will be better off for it ending!
  5. If ya think that you haven't seen much of liverpool this season, and for that you can be eternally grateful.
  6. To be honest whether we get him or not, the fact is we've seriously unsettled this Tottenham side, and that's a victory in my books.
  7. C'mon surely in AVB we trust at least for the first year?
  8. Luka makes a break for it.
  9. For the next 12 hours I've decided to be "Carefree" and completely avoid all transfer related news and live in a world of ignorance and happiness. I'll see where we stand tomorrow. Toodles.
  10. We've unsettled their best player totally and the rest of them look pretty average, even if Modric does start playing at his best for them in a couple of months the way they are playing now there's no way they'll qualify for the Champions League. We'll get our man one way or another , it's just a question of when. Unfortunately it doesn't look like being now, even Harry wouldn't be stupid enough to say he's not going on the day of the deal surely?
  11. I'm thinking the Pereira move seems like the only one that the press has been talking about actually happening. Apart from a surprise I can't see us landing any of our other supposed targets today
  12. As satisfying as it might be to get one of their best players I hope we've learned the lesson of never dealing with those Tottenham tossers again... This long , boring drawn out saga and a player's career being toyed with due to the huge egos of Harry Redknapp and Daniel Levy has been the most frustrated I've been about any of our transfer dealings for ages. Is it too cruel to suggest that I hope they get relegated, then fall into liquidation, then their greedy little heads explode like that Nazi chap from Indiana Jones?
  13. Chelsea TV doing a live end of transfer window show at 10pm tomorrow, maybe there will be a late signing, maybe not but I'll be glad to be done with all the speculation, and the newspapers making up stories, and that wheeler dealer for a few months.
  14. Tá sé ag teacht, It's coming, Es kommt, Durka Durka baka la.
  15. Why buy Pereira when PVA can be the glue to gel this team together. I'll get my coat.
  16. Ah now our second keeper only dropped one clanger, De Gea has dropped a few already.
  17. If he actually is willing to sell I'd say he's trying to force our hand into a last minute even more inflated panic buy. If we don't have a plan B then if we turn him down we are still missing what Modric would bring to the squad, if we pay ridiculous money other clubs will continue to expect us to pay over the odds in future. I'm to-ing and fro-ing on whether this deal will go through, don't know what's the best outcome but I'm sure our people know a hell of a lot more than I do and it's not any of our money at the end of the day. Just hope whatever outcome is the best overall for the club .
  18. Honestly feel that there should be no transfer window , just a load of bullsh*t media hype to sell papers. It has to be the most annoying and frustrating thing associated with football apart from Dippers and Tottenham fans.
  19. I voted no because Levy is a know-nothing weasel-f**k.
  20. Off Star's Twitter page. Kevin De Bruyne expected to arrive Tuesday afternoon for medical
  21. But his surname sounds like how a Bond villain would say "wonderful", how could he NOT be worth it?
  22. Haha down to ten men, United to get into the double figures?
  23. Well on today's evidence we're not good enough to win the league without seriously regaining form, but we also look certain of CL qualification even without good form of new signings. Not too bad really.
