About as boring as the Neymar rumour. Keep Cole as first teamer for 2-3 more season and then introduce Ryan Bertrand who I think has the potential to be Chelsea and England's number 3 for years to come.

Wesley Sneijder for me. Although there are some younger players on that list, Sneijder is a genuine world class player who has proven it season after season with both Inter and Holland.

I don't think we'll sign him. We need 4 quality centre back options to cover injuries and all 4 competitions. Alex wouldn't be in my first choice XI but is an excellent back up.

I was thinking about players that we could offer in excahnge and you're right. I wouldn't like to see us pay £40 million or anything like that but a fair price and Anelka would suit me fine. I should imagine Modric would be on lower wages that Sneijder and he's already an established Premier League player.

The Villa rumour appeared on the BBC Sport gossip column this morning too. His record at the start of the season was brillaint but then he went on a bit of a barren run where I think he didn't score in about 12 games. Would be a good signing but I can't see it happening.
