About as boring as the Neymar rumour. Keep Cole as first teamer for 2-3 more season and then introduce Ryan Bertrand who I think has the potential to be Chelsea and England's number 3 for years to come.

Wesley Sneijder for me. Although there are some younger players on that list, Sneijder is a genuine world class player who has proven it season after season with both Inter and Holland.

I'd like him but can't see Wenger selling him to us... Not unless we're gonna pay £5m-£10m more than anyone else. He'll go to City anyway as one of their 104 midfielders.

The Drogba and Malouda one comes from a crap website so I'm not given that much attention. In terms of a rumour which has appeared in the press, it has to be the Walcott one for me too.

Please let this be BS journalism... I must admit to being worried by the fact that AVB looks keen to bring in another centre back though. It would hardly endear AVB to the fans by selling someone who appears to be a new fans favourite.

Can't see us signing a new centre halve unless he plans to use Ivan solely at right back. I really hope Luiz isn't sold.

I don't think we'll sign him. We need 4 quality centre back options to cover injuries and all 4 competitions. Alex wouldn't be in my first choice XI but is an excellent back up.

I was thinking about players that we could offer in excahnge and you're right. I wouldn't like to see us pay £40 million or anything like that but a fair price and Anelka would suit me fine. I should imagine Modric would be on lower wages that Sneijder and he's already an established Premier League player.

Couldn't agree more. I just want this settled now one way or the other. If we get him then great but I don't wanna see us pay over the odds for him.

The Villa rumour appeared on the BBC Sport gossip column this morning too. His record at the start of the season was brillaint but then he went on a bit of a barren run where I think he didn't score in about 12 games. Would be a good signing but I can't see it happening.

Surely this would be like replacing a team in Spain who aren't going to challenge for the title with a team in Italy who aren't going to challenge for the title!

This isn't a disaster. He's a good player don't get me wrong but we desperately need a play maker in the Snijder or Modric role rather than another forward player. Still, as others have said, it's not been confirmed yet and is nothing more than internet rumours.

I honestly think that given a summer off (something he hasn't had since 2008) Torres could return a much better player next season. Ofcourse it also depends on who we sign but I really do believe he will score 20+ goals next season. May even put a tenner on him to be top scorer.
