Everton vs Chelsea (PL) 30/12/12 KO: 13:30 GMT
Are we able to recall him if necessary? I would rather him in goal than Ross, if Cech is out for a spell...

With my Japanese wife and I expecting our first this May, I find this adorable...Well its adorable regardless but I can relate to this... At least in the future that is...

Sign him up! SUPER FRANK! It'll be a complete travesty if we let him leave this summer...

January Transfer Targets - Strikers
Really? This was reported everywhere earlier in the week... I am on my phone but if one Google's "Lukaku wants to stay at West Brom" and there are a whole host of articles that quote he prefers to stay for two years. I never said he doesn't like Chelsea or that he bashed the club now did I? I was responding to somebody posting about bringing him back this January... Lukaku says he prefers to spend 2 years at West Brom. Where am I being wrong here? Pull the ESPN article and see his quotes... I know its ESPN but these are quotes from him and has stated a couple of times that he wants to remain at WBA this year and another...

Everything that Mata's
The board should he locking him up long term and at least doubling his wages... Mata doesn't come off as a player or person who will moan about wages but that does not mean Chelsea should not be paying him what he deserves. I hope we take Frank's weekly wages and hand them to Mata and offer Mata's current wages to Frank. It be fair for all and the club would reap the rewards...

The players seem to really like Benitez.
A spot on thought with some rationale behind it... Wish more of us felt the same way...

January Transfer Targets - Strikers
Lukaku doesn't want to come back next year let alone the second half of the season. We have a pattern forming where players are happy to be away from Chelsea playing at other clubs. I am sure we will send Feruz and Piazon out as well. Its not exactly a positive to young players who we may be after... Lukaku coming on today is giving the United backline fits and West Brom seems to be playing better with him on the pitch. For me, Lukaku and Feruz are a future strikers.

Marin to QPR?
True, but he's been healthy for some time now... Just seems odd he can't break through...
-
Neymar 2.0
Neymar is not coming and frankly I don't think he would be a good fit for us or even the Prem. Not to say he doesn't have boatloads of talent but I don't see him as a striker in the Prem. He should go to La Liga, IMO...

Marin to QPR?
Not sure why he is having a difficult time breaking into the squad. I thought he shined in the summer when Chelsea were over here in the States. I would've thought after the injury he would see the pitch but apparently both RDM and Rafa don't rate him? I certainly would not be sending him or anyone else to those mugs though! I want them relegated, that way I don't have to hear or about or see that c*nt Anton Ferdinand every week!

January Transfer Targets - Strikers
I would rather pass on Falcao and spend the money a bit more wisely. We can get two young players with huge potential than take up Falcao. Not to say Falcao wouldn't be a good signing but lets be honest, these big signings don't really pay dividends for us now do they? Plus I would give Feruz a run out and see what he can do. Sure he is young but so was Owen and Rooney. I feel he has the talent to be quite successful if giving the chance. Playing up top with Mata, Hazard, Oscar, and Moses would be interesting. He would capitalize on their skillful play...

Chelsea after Willian? Again...
Where would Willian even play? My understanding is he is an attacking midfielder. Well Hazard, Mata, Oscar, and Moses all seem to be there. Are you suggesting we sell one? Not to mention there is Marin, Debruyne, Piazon, Josh, as well... I think Willian is an excellent player of what little I l have seen but he is certainly not a priority, unless maybe you know he can be a striker? He was a possibility before we signed some of these guys but I don't see it happening anymore. Comparing Pirlo to Willian is a ridicoulous gesture... Even if they played the same style, Pirlo is miles better. Put it this way, I would rather have a thirty something Pirlo then Willian.

Chelsea FC - How did it start for you?
For me it began with the thrashing by United in the '94 Cup final. Didn't even like the sport let alone Chelsea then. However I caught the match on ESPN here in the States (back then there was never any football on the TVs here in the States) and went for the underdog. Distantly followed them until the American Sports channels began showing football on a regular basis. The rest is history and a good one at that!

Frank been told he's done!
I don't think this is true at all but if so, I will watch less and less of Chelsea. I will pray that Roman bellies up and is forced to sell the club. I personally would rather have the mid table club I began liking as a Yank back! I know that no player and/or manager is bigger than the club but I could not and will not follow a club that is so disloyal to its players! Especially ones that gave it all on the pitch and have won countless trophies... Again, seriously doubt this has any merit but I so hope this is just another feable attempt at disrupting the squad by your country's atrocious media.

Lawrenson: Chelsea fans have stopped moaning about Rafael Benitez...
Lovely post... Thanks for the good laugh...

Chelsea v FC Nordsjaelland (CL) 05/12/2012 KO 19:45 GMT
Oh you mean a supporter who is loyal to players that worked their a$$ off for the better of ten years, never moaned about playing time, was always there when called on, assisted most of our newer younger Brazilians (the ones you are so hung up on) with translation and helped settle them in a major city in a foreign country? Yeah, I am guilty as charged...

So you only watch "important" matches?
-
Chelsea v FC Nordsjaelland (CL) 05/12/2012 KO 19:45 GMT
Perhaps you should show the respect for the player like Benitez had by giving him a run out in what is more than likely his final CL appearance in a Chelsea shirt... Just a thought...

Chelsea v FC Nordsjaelland (CL) 05/12/2012 KO 19:45 GMT
I didn't imply you were bashing him. I didn't want to wake the restless natives that would have started. As for the lapse of concentration, I thought the same thing a number of times the past few months.

There is already a thread that is bashing Mikel...

You're right! Silly me for wanting my club to win a match, regardless of the larger picture...

Yeah that would do wonder for the squad's morale...

Mikel New 5 year deal
Certainly not world class but I think he takes a lot abuse from Chelsea supporters. He isn't going to set the world ablaze in the next five years either. With that said, he is very solid in what he does and clearly reliable. If he wasn't than what does that say about managers like Hiddink, Jose, Carlo, and even RDM. Like Zola stated, they all rated him enough to play him.
-
Mikel New 5 year deal
Well for starters, Mikel is wonderful at drumming up needless bashing by his clubs apparent supporters. Mikel may not be exactly consistent in his play but the way some of the posts here slag him off you'd think he is playing with one leg...
