To be honest I think a bunch of our best players indirectly speaking out about the club being ran like sh*t would be great. Players have moved here with the promise of being part of a winning machine and they've been let down spectacularly. I imagine Enzo didn't think 3 years down the line he'd be being managed by Will from The Inbetweeners and having to rely on Sanchez and Chalobah to keep clean sheets.

6 weeks out, given how awful it looked he got off very lucky.

It does have the makings of a Bogarde situation to be honest. Hopefully we can call in another Saudi favour .

What winds me up is how easy it is to turn this team into a team ready to challenge for everything again. 3 or 4 top signings and a top manager changes everything, everybody can see this apart from the people at the top and it sickens me.

I do try and give managers a bit of time, even the ones I didn't want like Maresca and Rosenior, but I think we all know this isn't gonna work. The term 'out of his depth' gets thrown around a lot in football but Rosenior is well out of his depth. I think 99% of us knew this would be a sh*t appointment and that's how it's proving to be, I don't like anyone to lose their jobs this early but we are at major risk of missing out on CL football and while Rosenior is here I just don't see us getting it.

I'm more inclined to think Americans are snapping up clubs because compared to NFL/MLB/NBA teams they're cheap and the potential revenues are much higher. However, this load of gimps have spent so much money poorly that they're never gonna see the benefit.

But that's my point, let's say you're right and they only care about making a return, where is this money gonna come from? The billions they've spent have been pissed away and they've got nothing to show for it. We aren't making money commercially, stadium plans are moving at a snails pace, no long term sponsor for years which has cost us over £100m, looking more and more likely that we won't qualify for the CL so that's more income lost, player values are decreasing because we're playing like sh*t and even worse, hundreds of millions have been spent on players who's value is already way below what we spent on them. The only conceivable way they have of making money is if they find someone to pay an inflated price for the club, but the more debt the clowns we have in charge put us in the less likely that is to happen. So it's all well and good saying the owners want the Brighton model of no trophies and just steady revenue, but realistically with the money they've spent the Brighton model is completely out of reach for them. To justify what they've spent and have even half a chance of making their money back we need to be an elite team to bring in elite team revenue. Brighton are Brighton because they spend little and make money, BlueCo have spent billions and make a loss. So if they really care about making money, they need to sack the people heading up the project.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, at what stage do the people that are pumping the money into the club look at what Eghbali and the sh*tbags he's appointed take a look at things and realise things aren't right? Over the course of 5 years we're a worse team now than we were when they took over, we've spunked close to 2 billion quid on players where only a handful are any good and on top of that we're haemorrhaging money in every other aspect. Now, I'm not a multi billionaire, but I'm pretty sure if it was my money I wouldn't be very f**king happy with how it's been wasted.

It's strange because I'll still look forward to the games and expect us to win, but I also don't like most of our squad. They just seem so inept up top and, to be honest, without bo**ocks. They're happy to get the handbags out every so often but when it's time to show real bottle on the pitch most of them cower away from it and it's sickening. A bunch of absolute pussys.

Can't even be bothered put this defeat on Rosenior. I just hate where this club is at the minute.

I wouldn't disagree with that

Which is why we aren't there yet, but we're about 3 signings away from being able to do so imo. Whether or not the board are capable of making the correct decision and to rectify their experience since mistakes is another conversation.

We are close to being an outstanding team though. We dominated a lot of the game only to be let down by the reason we aren't an outstanding team, and that's the goalkeeping and defender choices we have. But Rosenior has to take accountability for the subs and the obsession with playing out from the back no matter what, sometimes it's ok to just boot it up ffs.

I can't f**king believe what I've seen there. We barely deserved to lose it let alone concede 5. I'm fuming
