should thid be done in a CL game though? i would have done it against the likes of norwich and sunderland. if we dont get the 3 points tonight it puts pressure on us and at the moment i dont think we are settled in with AVB and the new players and the torres issue is obviously on the minds of the fans, staff and media so dropping the old guard tonight would not be the wisest of moves. it seems to me that AVB still hasnt got his first choice team yet and is still experimenting. i think we need to find the best team settle down for the long run and let the boys play with each other(no not in that way you sick minded fellas lol) week in week out, right now we keep changing the team all the time and its not helping, experimenting should have been done in pre season my 2p worth

im starting to feel sorry for the gonk, i bet in himself he feels like sh*t, i certainly dont think he is happy right now with his playing and the other players/team not playing at our best is also contributing to his somber mood. all it needs is a good couple of goals in one match and his confidence will start to rise dramatically, we need to stop bashing him and give him time. if after one full season of him playing regular but not scoring or getting assists then its simple.... he doesnt fit into our plans. unfortunate that it cost us 50mil but it will be one of those things and we will just have to accept like we have done before. i really hope AVB is given time this year and hopefully a few more years to get his squad that he wants and we can start to push for CL and league titles again, if RA sacks him after a few bad losses then i think its no hope for us whilst roman is in charge. he has been our saviour but could be our fall too if he keeps getting into team matters. torres is a professional so needs to up his game or he will lose his job so i really do hope for his and our sake he is thinking in his head "ill f**king show them" and grab goals sharpish. give him time lads then we can judge him

at the moment i dont think our midfield is strong enough to leave out lamps. yes he is a legend but i think we should now start bringing josh into the frame, maybe not against bayer lev but i think he should play against united or atleast get some mins against the likes of united to see if he is worth his minerals. im just hoping for the win on tuesday so would like to see a strong side with a bit of a mix. id like to see Cech Boss...luiz...terry...cole ramires...raul....josh sturge...torres...mata id like to see more attacking at home and to see whether we are capable of doing more damage to the bigger boys or i think we have no chance against the likes united and city

my old man is chelsea and so got me hooked on them, due to us being from south wales i never got much of a chance to see chelsea play and im a rugby player so football wasnt on my mind as a youngster, that was until i got to see a few matches with my old man and his die hard mate brooksie. i got to see Zola's debut game and always remember seeing him doing all sorts of tricks whilst warming up and thought this little fella looked good ha. ever since then i have been mad on chelsea to the point if we lose people know ill be in a bad mood. when/if i have kids they will all be chelsea

i too am also looking forward to this one. i do hope its on itv though. come saturday we will soon find out who is looking to be in the strikers role come the CL game. i really hope torres can do some damage overall against sunderland but i think drog will get the nod for CL due to his raw strength, its really hard to tell atm though as none in the team is playing out of their skin. after the international break maybe our boys can come back after playing a game or 2 and be up for sunderland and then bayer lev.

i voted 3rd purely because we still have alot of work to do in our midfield and other players like torres to get them playing and scoring. it seems like after games like norwich and west brom we have been discussing our problems and it seems like we are saying that our defense is wrong(with the high line and certain players), our midfield isnt working and our forwards are not playing well, well it seems to me that it means the team as a whole are not playing to our best and our tactics are wrong. the manc clubs seem to be flying at the start as we know that means nothing but it certainly means we have to up our game alot. we know how hard this league is and playing the lower teams doesnt always mean a certain win. in my heart i want us to win every trophy anmd become a super power like barca are seeming to become but in my head im a realist. finishing 3rd wouldnt bother me so much as long as AVB seems to be taking us forward and gets us playing well and then hopefully we can blow the opposition away sooner rather than later. my 2p worth

im hoping you boys can fill me in with what chelsea tv say as i dont have it. i really hope we bring in someone to help out in midfield, a middle 20's fast creative player we need(not modric as its dead). if we do bring someone in things are looking up for our midfield, if not then its back to same old 3 doing the same old thing seems very quiet from the cfc camp though. anyone think we will get anyone?

i voted no because i think levy wont give us the satisfaction of having one of his best players. look at the sh*t arse has had with nasri and fab so he is probably gearing the fans revolt

with the speculation of us going for meireles now i dont think we will be getting modric. i too am sick of all this modric malarky now. yes i would like to see him come to us but we have wasted too much time now on trying to get luka and that nob head levy f**king it all up thinking he is getting one over on us. we will see when he has a player who doesnt want to be there, they are mid table and struggling and we then get luka in january for 20mil just like what happened with torres apart from the money we paid for him
