it feels like he has been to most of our games this year.

Most importantly he looks like he is absolutely loving it ! Doesn't get the credit he deserves sometimes, one of the few owners to put his money where his mouth is and show a real passion for the football club. Maybe a bit trigger happy but you only have to read these forums on a matchday and realise things could be a whole lot worse !

I just hope that it lasts. I dont want to see Jose and Roman falling out again. I hope Jose has become more laid back and I hope Roman has realised that Jose is the best manager on the planet. I hope Jose is still our manager for the next 10 to 15 years.

In my opinion, Van Ginkel is everything we need in the deeper section of midfield, one of our most vulnerable areas last season.
We're looking strong now, very strong. With Essien returning, Van Ginkel, Mikel, Lampard and Romeu will be fighting for a spot in CDM.

This also gives other players a chance to fulfill their potential in higher or deeper positions, such as Ramires. Playing him at CDM last season wasn't a bad call in my opinion because of his speed but I feel we were really missing a box to box attacking touch we had from him when he played on the right in the 11/12 season. Not to mention the few games where he did play on the right and was superb in the 12/13 season. But of course people will have different opinions on that.

Another player who can fulfill his potential in their best position is David Luiz, yeah, playing him in the holding midfield role worked a treat last season. But people seemed to forget how much of a brilliant centre back he was, we need his talents in defence if we're to really have a solid back line.

Not to mention on top of that, if we go ahead and sign De Rossi as rumors are saying we're set to, that would completely calm my nerves about the holding midfield role, as De Rossi seems to be a solid holding midfielder and would fit in so nicely with the team.

Look don't get me wrong mate, i understand that through circumstances through no fault of their own that people cannot afford to watch the football week in week out. It's a luxury

but to say the people who attend chelsea matches are day trippers just because you don't know them just get's to me, It's something jealous liverpool or west ham fans say, Not our own fans ! I myself emigrated to australia, and just because i only get to see a game at stamford bridge once every couple of years doesn't mean i'm any less a fan, I get up at all times in the night to watch chelsea whether it be 10 pm, 12 pm, 1am, 5 am it really doesn't matter. Either way i still have blue blood, either way i after that barcelona 2nd leg i come out of my living shaking like a leaf i was so nervous during that match

And even if they are day trippers, it might be the only time they ever get to see chelsea live, doesn't make them any less of a chelsea fan.

He Cops some flak from us chelsea fans, can be frustrating but i wouldn't swap him for any other owner in the world. He makes mistakes but then again he has put over 1 Billion pounds into this football club. More than any other owner in world football i'm sure.

people might talk about ruthless sackings but when they start slating him for signings like torres and schevchenko. No one can honestly tell me that when these two were coming here they weren't extremely excited at their presence in the chelsea team, two world class CF. Unfortunetly Roman doesn't have a crystal ball and we often forget it is easier to ridicule with hindsight

He has done some things wrong and things that have annoyed us but for me he is the best owner in the world and we are so lucky to have him.The thing i love about him the most is that he cares and wants to win.
