I hope you can still separate two things; Mudryk's doping scandal and Mudryk the player. Who can anticipate this doping thing? No one... Mudryk was pretty sought after player when we bought him. Still young and will improve. Such a shame this doping thing hit him. Hopefully it is only a year-18 months so we might still get some production of him

Mudders is a good boy. If he took the drug knowingly he deserves the punishment but if he didn't take it even the light version of the ban is way too harsh. I feel sorry for him in any way. Young lad. Big money sure, but a devastating blow for him personally. With Mutu the blow was more snorted than devastating.

At 23 he scored 10 and assisted 5 in the Premier League. Good player in my books. Ton of room for improvement and my bigggest concern is his footballing IQ. He is intelligent in some situations but a donkey like everyone calls him in others. I think competition with Delap can help him. Not a pure number 9 in my books Nico but a valuable part of the team and most of all a good player.

I agree. I remember when Bayern won the treble under Heynckes they absolutely destroyed Barcelona in that two legged tie in the Chamoions League. They took Barca apart with excellent counter attacking football. We have also shown great counter attacks under Pochettino and Maresca as we have the players for it. Enzo doesn't see that as his style. Hopefully we can be a bit more surgical this season with finishing. Because we can win a ton of games with this a bit more balanced football. Scoring early in games would let us be more adventurous but we seldom do that. We have sprung to life in the second half this last bit of the season. Wins clearly trump style at least with the history Chelsea has from the last 20 odd years. To me in this stretch it time we have mostly played defensive style football. Some coaches have tried things with not that good results. In that way Enzo fits the Chelsea history timeline as he wants the team to be able to defend. To me absolutely too much is made of us recycling the ball. Not that it is entertaining to me but I understand why we do it.

Nico Jackson is a good player. I've watched most of the games we played since he joined the team. He isn't too bright in some situations and he needs to be much more composed in taking his chances but otherwise a good footballer and very important to us. Again I hope this new competiton from Delap sharpens him.

Nico will miss first 3 Premier League games start of next season. Pretty much the worst possible situation for him. Delap beds in the side at CWC and he most probably starts all 3 games if we don't buy another striker on top of Liam. That might mean Jackson plays a bit part role deep into the year. His own doing of course but not a great situation to be in.

Enzo talks about James alot and the way he needs to play him more selectively. And about Lavia and Fofana as well. For James also this style of football is much better than the up and down style that he had to play before. Play less and run less is seems to work for him.

I have always loved when the players we use play with their personalities and that forms the team and its performance. From this team Enzo, Palmer and Cucurella do so. Everyone of them are like they are as their player profile and personality so to say. I have always hated over-controlling coaches such as Pep although I can admit he is probably the best coach of last 10 years. He has actually molded the football to a certain state. Not all good. His teams are sort of army-like and they look like autocrat of the team, which in essence he is. For die Mannschaft that style works. They have made art of it last 30 years. Of being united and one minded on the 'team comes first' mentality. That is basically their identity no matter if the formation or the balance have changed over the years. Same goes with Italy and their identity. I don't mind deep sitting teams if that is their essence. I don't mind defensive football nor 0-0 games. I have seen some amazing games that have zero goals. Usually when the stakes are high. Boring 0-0 is just boring. There are things in this Enzo's style that are clear. We've been through them. I think if we'd score with better percentages and are a bit more brave in the key areas of our football I think we can win a lot of games. He's brought balance to the side after Poch. It is not working probably like he wants but win first - hone the style, tweak the team second I would say is the way he sees it.

It is also individual plans to players. Not solely on the medical team. Coaches choices also play a big part there. Maresca realized this and it has been at least a moderate success on that. There were talks on Pochettino running players to the ground with his style and choices. Massive upgrade.

I use ChatGPT in my work almost every day. I understand and know how it basically and in use cases work for my use anyway. I know its limitations and what it is good at. It goes wrong many times as in your use case. It is also very good at compiling lists on how to progress on things or very simple instructions and like you say finding something for software code. I just used Grok to give me a piece of code to run through 1000s of web pages to find anomalies. After iterations it worked for the thing I tried. In terms of news like I used it on it has its benefits. But you are right its style of talking is in the way of pleasing the user so to say. I thought it is interesting to get some answers to things we were bickering about here. Conversations I am going around here end nowhere. I know that. Sort of key strikes with no meaning nor end. Overwhelming negativity here is something I stupidly try to balance. No need for it but at the same time this place is dear to me so I hate seeing just basic negativity in a subject that should be giving enjoyment to us. To be afraid of AI in its use cases that most normal people use for I wouldn't be to worried. In terms of Mod and this site connected to Google (as everything is) I understand the threats that it can cause in terms of SEO and google flagging the site if it had tons of AI created content. To amuse (enrage ) us here and there for some fun or context even I think it is fine.
