Not sure if this means anything.

We've got Veiga, Anselmino, potentially Sarr, Badiashile to take over that role. I personally think this could be a good chance to give Baddy a run of games. I don't remember us doing that. He is good at making those line piercing passes but he's been suspect in some defensive actions but the optimist in me says he just needs time to find his groove by playing more than one game here and there. Anselmino is pretty young and untested and not sure which side he prefers. Veiga is on his way out but could be excited for the new opportunity. Sarr is already contacted to Strasbourg but if it was life or death we could probably call him back. Young boy as well. Remains to be seen whether we go into the market...

Enzo Maresca - Chelsea "Head Coach" *Official NOW SACKED*
Maresca being stubborn to me is also a bit exaggerated point. That is something that got slapped onto him and everyone took it to heart. I think along with bald c**t that is the word people use here to describe him. I think Enzo has adapted and changed things according to the opponent. He also needs to balance that with teaching his system and patterns to young players and by players I mean a lot of young players. We've come miles from that chaos-football that Pochettino had us play. I just watched the highlights of that 4-3 win against MU which as a contest is brilliant but which also made Caicedo look like a hit and miss player. There was no idea/patterns of play/fallback plan, just go forward and hope Cole does something brilliant. Under Pochettino we had some epic games which go down as all time greats for football viewers, not just Chelsea fans but you can't build something lasting or win anything major with that. I think promising young coach who already won two trophies is better description of him than a stubborn bald c**t. He is learning as we go as well. Blowing PSG out the water in a major final will have done a world of good to him as well.

First of all we beat THAT PSG side with flying colors and we managed to get to that game winning game after game. Why do I even need to go through this? 🤣 Hope you feel better in the future.

Would be pretty easy to bundle some of you lot as well but won't stoop to a low like that.

Not saying anyone is right or wrong but fact is in this forum there are fans that live somewhere else, around Fulham road, around England, in the States, in Asia, in Russia. Then there are fans that are watching Chelsea mainly from TV, live at SB and away grounds, just read this forum etc. But all are Chelsea fans in their own right. To me none of them are better or worse than the other. Some have been a fan for 2 years, some 50 years. All the same. I think everyone shares the same feeling. They want Chelsea to win and do us proud. Give us moments of magic, disappointment and good football.

This contradicts to the general idea that Chelsea is about winning. But each of their own.

It is hard for Chelsea fans to appreciate all we achieved this season. CWC trophy completely sh*tting over the best club in the world in PSG is no small feat. Sadly it was masterminded by a coach that no one here likes.

So we should be sad or 'intelligent' by ignoring something that we achieved because we have not softened to the new crew yet and have been sh*tting all over them last 3 years? Something like that?

I know this hurts. Just skip past it.

I think it is a good idea. Last player from the team that scored gets the goal in his name and not OG. Solid idea.

For your enjoyment: absolutely not.

Oh I missed this reply. I meant I've always thought "OG Terry" as a goal scorer is stupid and is just a spite type of reward to a player whose probably done everything to stop a goal from happening. And the player that it touched last (from the goal scoring team) gets zero reward to his name who would probably love to add a goal to his tally. So it is basically a lose-lose type of situation.

Just saw that! Congrats Enzo for making the cut. Not sure how much appreciation this will get here...🤣

Carragher is a massive Chelsea hater. He has this 80's-90's view of Chelsea and his own club. He totally discredits everything we did pre-Roman and in Roman era. But that is his problem. We consistently beat him and humbled him when he was at this peak. He probably couldn't handle it mentally so he's blocked all those negative memories. He probably talks about Chelsea with his dad and they just go on about Kenny Dalglish and old Pool legends. Sad. I really hope we start to hit the heights with this new and exciting squad so we can shut his mouth once more.

New things are intimidating I know. Hopefully you get over the ownership-change sometime soon. It feels much better to just accept this. Roman seems to be beyond objective viewing and the new guys can't do one thing right. This is how it is with some of you.

Who do everyone here compare our new owners? Like general consensus? In the frustrating 'our new owners, directors, coach' is horrible vs 'there is something good there' debacle? To Roman, no?

BlueCo buy Chelsea FC
Well there are elements that count that in and is part of the strategy. Under the last ownership (I don't dare say his name as it triggers people here) we didn't really have that in mind as much as we do now.

Well go on and buy 25 players and expect all to fit into the idea. On that journey you also have 3 different coaches. Felix was probably tied to Gallagher. And everyone knows Felix could be excellent. That is the enigmatic feature of him. Not sure why I need to write this down so everyone understands: You realize at some point this player isn't for your team but you paid premium of him. Recouping a good amount of him where 98% of fanbase though we'd get a button and an old can of Sprite is pretty f**king good. So to me and probably many selling Felix to Saudi with a reasonable fee is a success after admitting he is not your dude. Not sure why I need to write this even here. Maybe someone is being a bit of a CONTRARIAN here.

Just read my post. I am not repeating an obvious thing.

We did well selling him after we realized he is not good for us.

About FOS. This is a bit of a personal view and only feel based but as I watch NHL and after 30 years or so watching they brought one small sponsor to the shirt which is to me sort of a point of enragement. The shirts been sort of holy piece of item that no sponsor is part of. They monetize the sport to last item but they never had sponsors on the shirts which made them look so cool. Just cartoon type iconic shirts that was about the team. The shirts in all and every sport look at their best without a sponsor. That is a fact you can't argue. If you do you are off my good books 😅. In football it has always been a tradition naturally but yet it looks 1000x more cool without some stupid "3" on that shirt. I know we need one and we'll get one but I wished we could muster 60m/season with something else. And all the other clubs as well. One tradition I would love to put in the bed with own goal rule 😅.

We did well with Felix also after for some reason buying him. Maybe related to Gallagher. Sterling was a Boehly/Eghbali buy. Those two didn't do too well compared to the SD's who to me have done very well. Garnacho looks to be a bit of a flip-piece/let's hope type of player. If he doesn't fit in/perform we can recoup probably all the money for him. MU seems to be in a bit of a trouble and he will be well under market value. I think Enzo Fernandez and Anselmino can help him fit in. And vouch for him as well. But simply as a reinforcement I don't see Garnacho as just a squad option.
