Champions League Squad
This is the big problem in European football. We know where heavy and most of all badly designed regualtion leads to. Clubs are not having a say here on how they'd want things to work. One club finds a loophole and then they plug it, another appears and another plug. This goes on until the horrible big picture reveals itself. I have zero complaints on the clubs that try to find a hole or an edge. It is competition.

Thanks. That is what I meant and used the wrong word. Cue the same old sorry bickering over things we have no control over nor we know zero facts from the inside.

It was my queue that worked as anticipated. Make your own.

My queue was spot on. Another reason to celebrate 🥳

Another example of their total incompetence. What a horrible bunch. Queue: they shouldn't have done those mistakes in the first place!!!!

Enzo Maresca - Chelsea "Head Coach" *Official NOW SACKED*
I agree. He is not that adventurous with players in that sense. But I think Marc will get his chances coming from bench and lower level cup games.

Although far from optimal Guiu gets his chance hopefully to get a run of games.

They are in their prime (core) and they now try to empty the bank. We are not. There are 100 different strategies and ways to run a club, build a squad. We had one under the previous ownership which worked well in a general sense but I understand this new group trying to do things differently. I think we have a chance to be even better than we were before with this new strategy. The window for challenging on all fronts is not open yet in my eyes but we are close. My worry is they will sell some of our core players when they peak/Real comes knocking. If they don't and we are able to keep them by 1. Doing great on the football pitch 2. Giving them comparable salaries I think we are fine. So far we haven't sold any core players during these years.

Btw anyone else having problems with the forum on Android? Removing a quote that is saved from an earlier session is not easily removed. The button which says "clear..." Just disappears instantly. Then when just deleting the quote with backspace (that takes ages) removes the entire quote box even if I delete everything before that. So annoying.

Anything less than a title push and a CL QF place is a failure this year. Our squad is more than good enough and we've spent way too much not to be competitive. I think the squad is too inexperienced as a unit and just by the average age. Plus the Champions League will very much be a problem as well in terms of title push in the Prem. Even the club has already said top 4 is the minimum requirement. Naturally the players and Enzo will go for it but the club has some sense in terms of the squad.

We are a business and a football club. Those two are not mutually exclusive. To me this new setup is a bit more healthy and comparable to other clubs and businesses now that we are not run by one man and his endless pockets. We operate inside the normal circumstances of a club so to say. To me that is the way it is. We have to generate revenue to be able to operate on a level and to buy expensive players. It was fine before under the previous owner but this is basically back to reality. If these new guys sell their assets to themselves is nothing different to what we had before. Just balancing on a rope with these idiotic rules. In terms of glaring issues in the squad: we revamped the attack, got reinforcements to midfield and replaced wingers to hopefully better ones. Unfortunately we lost Georgous George (Colwill) just before the season started so we are one starting CB short. Club expects us to be alright. Again here I think we are looking not to block Sarrs and potentially Anselminos path to the club by doing the Disasi. In terms of keepers I agree. Sanchez is some sort of a blind spot for the club. But we can expect Jorgensen and later on Penders to have a pathway to the squad. New era of fan. Absolutely. You are spot on. Younger people want different things from what they invest their time into I suppose. It is great things changing and the club changes with it. That is just life.

After this case I am sure clubs will sign young potential players on maximum number of years. Because why not. Just to comply better with the acronyms. Again one thing our club introduced to everyone else.

Hmmm..not to comment on anyone's posts too much but....the image is factual which is fine I guess. The banter between clubs fans is part of this footballing fandom. Posting that to anywhere is banter I guess. Posting it here means something positive was posted hence it is wrong and is not part of the banter that should go on here. But again I know nothing.

Welcome to Chelsea Ben Chilwell
If he goes to Strasbourg at least he gets some momentum going on his reputation as a player. He's not been that eager to push himself to clubs.

Following Our Nearest And Dearest Rivals 2025/26
Some ultimate sh*t show... Leverkusen fans were over the moon even last season with Alonso. Now they have sold most of their best players and sacked the new coach just weeks into the season. Erin Ten Hag is some coach.

Wissa is a winger?

I think Jackson and Newcastle make sense but they might have another targets in their mind.

Integrating Jacko to the side makes no sense and could be harmful. Calling both back just makes no sense at all. There has to be an idea behind it.

This might be something they waited for. Heard Isak is going to Pool and stopped the deal..not sure.

Alejandro Garnacho
Comparing him to our other wingers I think Neto and Estevao are class above but Garnacho is right behind them. Gittens and George are a works in progress. It is very hard to judge him of his off pitch behaviour because he is in a place like Manchester United. I have no idea what is going in there but that place is not right. Every time I see a player going there you just know the smile is quicky wiped off their faces and the blame game starts right away. Look at Mount. The man was smiling in games even, now he is a ghost.

This has to be the weirdest saga in a while. Not the biggest Jacko fan but it feels cruel. Not sure what happened behind closed doors but us calling back both him and Guiu doesn't seem right. Somehow I feel the whole loan deal that was reported wasn't as straightforward and simple as it seemed. If we had the deal done why would we call the deal off and recall Guiu as well. Makes no snese at all. That is why I don't think this is that simple.

Random Rumours
A lot of these players are considered to possibly feature us for the future. Pretty sure DDF was a misbuy from us. Never settled at any club we sent him. Washington to me is still a work in progress. All others very young and not considered to compete with Delap and Pedro I am sure you can understand that. If we had one extra striker for this season he'd probably be a versatile attacker like we've been after all window. Jackson didn't want to stay with Pedro and Delap. That tells you why we are where we are now. Arsenal for example last season found themselves in that same situation. Can happen. I think something will still happen the last days. You can, and as sun is bright you will criticize the club for everything they do, they certainly didn't plan to be in this situation 2 days before the window closes. If Ekitike injures him today what do you think they'll do? Be relaxed?

Still the comedian. A lot of angles covered there. Keep it up

If Delap got injured after the deadline we'd be in a much worse situation. We can still do something here. Bringing Jackson back though after he already smiled at Allianz however is a bit f**ked up. I guess this is some sort of worse case scenario. This also brings up the discussions between Chelsea and Bayern as we now twist their arm saying you can have him but you have to buy him like we want. Will strain the relationship between the two clubs. I think this could still turn up so they buy him now and we find some attacker to fill up the numbers. It is possible. Mind you Bayern are also a bit desperate with attacking players. Anyway this can end up in many ways. Just hoping it ends up a good way for us. Media will destroy us but what's new really.

In all seriousness...you finish the sentence.
