  1. Not sure what we get but this could work out. If it doesn't I feel we can recoup most of the fee.
  2. Although I love Enzo, today at this moment we need something else in the midfield.
  3. What are we doing here? All credit to Fulham but we are all over the place.
  4. I stand corrected
  5. Once more a pre good deal.
  6. Won't face us I believe.
  7. From Garnacho and Simons I'd prefer Simons but they knew all summer if we can't ship off 2 from the 3 Nkunku, Jackson and George we won't buy Simons or any other attacker. So knowing that is pretty weird people are sick of Fabrizio Romanos continuous tweets about it. That is his job. I always feel people are petulant and selfish and can't live another tweet unless it says here we go. Loosen up. Always reminds me of this brilliant Gervais bit:
  8. We have Barcelona our old rival, Bayern who we owe some revenge from recent years, Antonio Conte and A**x to start with. Great games ahead.
  9. Looks brilliant. Excellent opponents.

In terms of these people in the know on transfers I find it weird how people talk about them/react to them. Fabrizio Romano and Ornstein who are the most reputable insight people... First of all it is amazing to me they would know fine details of these deals weeks before. That means agents and representatives leak information of deals because they gain something of it. Not sure what. I would believe deals like these should be heavily protected by NDA's and other protective mechanisms. In the real world way smaller investments are protected by dealing parties. I guess this is another wild west aspect of European football. I enjoy reading rumours as the next guy but it still baffles me the whole ordeal. Others talk about them as some sort of oracles which is idiotic as well. But still why get so angry about them. For some reason it is their livelihood. Tells more about the human race if anything I guess.
  11. We did a ton of things right under the previous owner (can't name him because people get triggered here) and their strategy of winning was pure and simple. Selling surplus wasn't something they did well with because the surplus we had was of over the hill category. Morata and Costa sales were fine just for an example but the likes of Lukaku and Kepa will go to history-books. Some of this new regiments early purchases (without SD's) will be on that list as well mind you. Some after that for sure as well. No one has a 100% track record. Liverpool, Arsenal or Manchester United for example are not doing this to my knowledge. They could, they are not. That is a clear difference in strategy. Maybe they will in this climate at some point. And to add winning on the pitch to me seems to be the aim with these new owners as well.
  12. So why is it not a good thing if we did as well? Why can't we be a top dog and still make transfer profit? Because it is not traditionally so? I think we are able to lure the talent at Chelsea better than those said clubs. I think the idea is both simple and good. I haven't seen the Blueco strategy on paper but it looks like we are doing this on purpose. I am sure the visits at Brighton gave them these ideas. Maybe we can be without that ugly sponsor on the front while making profit on sales. 🤔😉🤣🤣🤣
  13. It looks like he is being sold. Good level player with good future ahead of him but I personally see him more of a lower level side player than Chelsea level.
  14. After seeing some rivals play Arsenal to me looks the biggest threat but I see us having a chance. But season is long, just breaking into it.
  15. If we are able to be the best selling club alongside with being one of the powerhouses of European football I think we've done very well. Not sure if another top club is described like so. Buying/selling naturally has to be profitable as well.
  16. I think Liverpool showed last night why some sort of plan for control in the midfield is a good thing. Not the most pleasing part of the game but the game is 90+ minutes long. 3 games from them: Palace: lost after penalties and got to penalties with 2 incredible/lucky goals. Bournemouth: won in the last minutes of the game after such an underwhelming and even game. Newcastle: was outplayed most of the game and took every chance they got. This luck has to change at some point.
  17. I think an initial loan and some sort of mandatory buy clause would be okay. I can't see anyone at the moment buying him for 60-80m. Newcastle is probably the only hope. I prefer he moves to another League as we'll.
  18. Howe is doing the Robert Huth tactic with Burn 😅
  19. So far this season Liverpool's football is chaos. They transition very fast which is their trademark move but even here man up they are in constant chaos.
