Against these mid-table teams...3 points is a must..no excuses.

There will be the same excuses made as there were for the last mid table team we drew with, Palace.

Fulham are a decent team with a good manager. Palace a bit better but not much imo. We should beat them but if they low block and counter we will see.

Get Josh back in the line up alongside Trev.

Find a way to integrate Palmer into the JP, Delap, Estevao orgy up top.

Win the league. UK Soccerball is easy.

Palmer Estevao Neto Pedro Delap Gittens - four starting, two ready and waiting now thats a smorgasbord surely? 😎

Professional 2-0 win. In this game the midfield is key.

Santos-Caicedo all the way. Sub Enzo for Joao Pedro late in the 2nd half

1st half:

Sanchez

James/Gusto Trev Tosin/Josh Cucu

Santos Caicedo

Estevao Pedro Pedro

Delap

If we get 2-0 early,

2nd half:

Sanchez

James Trev Josh Hato

Santos Essugo(if needed)

Neto Enzo Gittens

Delap

Anyone

Gusto Chalobah Tosin Cucurella

James Caicedo

Palmer Pedro Estevao

Delap

Anyone

Chalobah Tosin Cucurella

James Caicedo

Gusto Palmer Pedro Estevao

Delap

James holding can easily drop in and cover Gusto overlapping Palmer. I doubt he'd go for it but this is our strongest line up until Lavia/Colwill return. Hato could also be a more comfortable fit for that LB/LCB role.

Not to undermine the importance of needing 3 points here but is there a more ‘friendly’ local derby than Chels v Fulham/Brentford?

Talksport were blabbing on about a West London rivalry and aside from the distance I don’t think there’s any rivalry at all, in fact, I quite like both Fulham & Brentford?

Just wondering if anyone else looked at it the same? I can’t explain why but there’s absolutely no animosity toward either of those clubs and it’s nothing to do with a lack of success ‘cos I hate Sp*rs & West Ham and they’ve both won f**k all as well.

I can tell you now TBB that generally us Chelsea fans are pretty much indifferent towards Fulham and Brentford. But that most certainly is not the case in reverse for their fans. Particularly in regards to Fulham. They would rather beat us than any team in the EPL. Little Man syndrome certainly kicks in for them whenever they have a game against us.

Our games against Fulham are usually closely contested and I don't see this one being different. Cole is of course a big miss, but I would rather give him the chance to rest and recover until after the international break. Hopefully we can get the win and would also be nice to see Delap/Estavao get off the mark.
