Great post Blue Daze, everyone should read this and take a reality check........I think we're getting a tad spoilt with our good start to the season and expect 3 points from every game, and that just ain't gonna happen unfortunately.!!

Disappointed at not picking up all 3 points, but really hacked off listening to the morons on Sky who reckon Utd were superb.EH..????? Singing about Van Pussy and Di Maria, when to be perfectly honest I thought they were like the rest of the Utd team, mediocre at best. We only have ourselves to blame for the old "Let's sit back & run the clock down" crap, we very nearly came unstuck against Palace a couple of weeks ago doing the same thing, had they scored 5 min's earlier who knows what might have happened ?

Would that actually be possible ???

Strolling around and knocking the ball about is ok when you're 3 or 4 up with 5 minutes to go but I get nervous when we do that with 30 mins or so still remaining. That said, really pleased with the 3 points and it was well deserved over all.

Would dearly love to see some of our youngsters given a decent chance at first team level, but it never seems to happen. Just look at Josh mceachran, Lassana Diarra, Bertrand Traore and Gael Kakuta,.to name but four.

After the FA's handling of the whole business, I pretty much gave up bothering about the national side. They took a man who was found not guilty by the law of the land, and decided to throw him to the 3 lions, (Papers, TV and Radio) so they could rip him to bits.The only thing the FA were/are interested in, is not upsetting their precious sponsors who would not have wanted a bigoted thuggish racist to be seen wearing an England shirt. After all, they already had a player who was caught on cctv assaulting a barman in a nightclub and another one who had cheated on his Mrs by going to ageing prostitutes on more than one occasion!!!!..... however, they obviously decided that these two shining examples were much better suited to represent their country (even as captain) than JT? I would bet my life that Hodgson was told in no uncertain terms by his boss's " Don't even entertain the idea of asking him to come out of retirement, We have shirts to sell and people to appease". I have shed many tears over England losing in world cups on many occasions in the past, but not this year,in fact, to use the words of Rhet Butler,......" Frankly My dear, I don't give a damn".

I remember only a few years ago how everyone, including the F.A and The Football league, were embracing the influx of foreign players into the English game and telling all of us how wonderful and exciting their presence would be and how they would enrich the English leagues and inspire all youngsters who would want to "emulate their silky skills which have been missing from our game for too long" !!!!!!........... Whistling a very different tune now, Eh ?????
