  1. Everyone has different views/opinions on how to support our club; My personal stance on the matter is I will get behind the team 100% but will not give my support to Rafa. If i feel like showing my discontent to him during the 90 minutes of a game of football, I will. I'm sick of seeing people write on different threads telling us that we shouldn't criticize Benitez whilst the players are out on the field. If you don't agree with it, just don't participate in that particular chant or try and start another chant. Against Fulham on Wednesday or at West Ham on Saturday, if people are singing anti-rafa songs let them get on with it. It doesn't mean they are not supporting the team in the slightest. WE DONT CARE ABOUT RAFA, HE DON'T CARE ABOUT US, ALL WE CARE ABOUT, IS CHELSEA FC.
  2. I went out there with a mate who had a ticket with someone else's name on and we got into the ground fine. However, I overheard people at the airport saying they knew 2 blokes who didn't get in after not having the correct ID. Was extremely under the influence when going into the ground so can't remember if we had our passports checked our not. My advice would be do not leave it late going into the ground, try and get there when there is a main influx of people. Only reason i'm giving my experience is because i was as curious as you are by the sounds of it. Now back to hating Liverpool. Take your fat Spanish waiter out there with ya and don't let him return. f**k off Benitez.
  3. If people want to vent there frustration on Sunday, let them. We have the right to. We've all been here much longer than Roman (the majority have) and we will be here long after him. Benitez deserves all the abuse he gets on Sunday whilst RDM will get all the praise he deserves on Sunday. I fully expect the likes of Terry, Lampard, Cech, Cole etc pre-match to fire the whole squad up for the game on Sunday and I do not see any anger, frustration, hostility towards Rafa, Roman, Buck or Gourlay affecting our players. They're professionals. They will want to prove a point. Love Chelsea, Hate Rafa.
  4. On your match ticket did it have your name on it?
  5. Alright fella cheers, have you ever had your name put on the ticket for Euro aways?
  6. Just bought 2 Juventus away tickets and it states on the club website that they put the name on the ticket and will need ID at the turnstiles. Does anyone know if this happens? Any feedback will be much appreciated
  7. Yeah that was my next alternative. Flights to Milan around £60 and then train I think it's worthwhile getting a inter-rail pass for Italy for 3 days which is £100 and gets you on any train and will just save you hassle.
  8. Never been to Turin before so was just wondering what people are doing in terms of travel as flying direct to Turin seems rather expensive ...
  9. Never been to Turin before so I'm just wondering what others are doing in terms of travel. Looked at prices direct to Turin but they seem extortionate, any advise/cheaper options would be very helpful.
  10. Besides Chelsea being successful, nothing pleases more me than seeing Sp*urs suffer. Now good old twitching *Arry has gone, I think their 'key' players like Bale and Modric will probably move elsewhere unless they get a world class manager in. I truly think this may now be the demise of Spurs again and I cannot f***ing wait until next season and see them have a mediocre season of finishing 13th where they belong.
  11. This really irritates me this does. I can't understand how or why some people class Liverpool as our rivals. Yes, I don't like them as a club and their supporters (some) are vile and horrible but apart from the Louis Garcia no goal there never has really been any rivalry between the two clubs. Apart from a few incidences back in the day but that happen with most clubs and us. I can't see how people can 'hate' the Scousers more than Tot*enh*m, West Ham, Millwall, Arsenal and Leeds etc. Especially the y*ds and Leeds where our rivalry dates back a while with the clubs. I know for sure that Liverpool wouldn't class us as their rivals. Their hatred for United and Everton is massive than it is towards us.
  12. I would be enraged too. Don't particularly like Cardiff but do feel for them.
  13. Just out of curiosity, if we had owners who decided to change our shirt colour from blue to another colour, how would you feel about it? (Taking everything into consideration e.g. new training facility, get rid of debt, money on new players etc).
  14. May of come up on a previous thread so apologies if so, but if the club decide to favor Guardiola instead of Robbie I will be absolutely fuming. If they offer RDM the job but he turns it down then fair enough. Yes, guardiola track record at Barcelona is incredible but we have Malouda whilst they have Messi and we have Meireles and they Inestia etc so if a manager cannot win trophies with the players he has at his disposal then something is not right. Di Matteo could not of done a better job than Abramovich has asked for (besides finishing top 4 but that didn't matter in the end) so I think if he is not offered the job then something is not right and i'll lose faith in mankind.
  15. Glad others agree with me on this. The incident i saw in the ground was really getting quite heated with the guy proper lashing out but eventually calmed down. It does my head in though when fellow fans are telling you to sit down let alone the stewards.
  16. One small thing that annoyed me about the game on saturday was people telling other people to sit down during the game (I was in the middle tier). It's a champions league final for f**k sake ! One guy started hitting the guy in front of him with the plastic flag pole we got given because he wouldn't sit down. It's not like there was any young kids there or anything or people who couldn't see. It was grown men shouting at others to sit down in debatably the biggest game of our history.
  17. Pretty sure 3 people ran onto the pitch, from where i was standing in the ground it looked like they just went back into the Chelsea end and the police didn't do anything. Could be wrong though.
  18. Really hope the club or a supporters group create a large flag/banner that could hang over the Matthew Harding or Shed end with 'Champions of Europe' or something along those lines on. Really f***ing rub it in the opposition faces whenever someone comes to the Bridge next season (and then have Drogba's penalty on repeat the entire game on the big screens when Sp*urs come to us haha)
  19. Saw the Chelsea Den Haag flag in Marienplatz where the Chelsea were situated. Quality flag.
  20. Really great pictures there Gem, decided to have the big chelsea pride of London flag photo as my screensaver
  21. Another thing that made Saturday night even more incredible was us knocking the bin lids out of 4th spot. All season they have gone on about how much better they are than us. I would of loved to of seen old 'Arry's face when Drogba's penalty nestled into that corner. Come the start of next season, I really hope there are some cracking chants aimed at them and we won't let them forget that we champions of Europe. Beating them 5-1, us becoming European champions and knocking them out of a Champions league spot really doesn't get better than that. Tot*enh*m away next season is going to be absolutely terrific.
  22. Trip started with a 10:45 flight out from Gatwick to Munich whilst having a few beers and fry up in Weatherspoons before hand. Flight was like a floating pub with the cabin crew just carrying around crates of beer instead of the trolleys they have. Arrived at hotel in Ismaning 15:00 German time and drop bag then head straight out to the city (Marienplatz). Stop at various bars for drinks and food etc and got some good photos of us lot mixing in with the Bayern fans with our large Chelsea flag on show. Head down to the Kilians Irish bar in the evening where all the Chelsea boys were. Cracking atmosphere it was, sing songs outside the bar and inside it everyone dancing around to the music. Decide to head back to hotel at a reasonable time as we planned to go back into the city early doors the following day. Bit of breakfast, then head back to Marienplatz for 10:00 thinking we could fine a table outside a bar in the sun. We was wrong. The place was absolutely heaving already with Bayern Munich fans but all very welcoming and a positive atmosphere. Already hearing stories that the German police have closed some Chelsea bars down. Got in touch with other mates who said where all the chelsea were gathering just round the corner from Killians and found a shop that was selling tinnies so we got plenty of them to save queuing in the bar. Great atmosphere with Chelsea songs echoing around the place. Apart from one German f**ker who decided to cut down our flag we had up. Come 16:00 decide to head off to another bar but got lost and ended up finding a table outside a bar with plenty of other Chelsea fans but the service provided was very slow. Was fortunate enough to have a ticket for the game so headed off at around 18:00. Thought the London underground was crowding at times on matchdays but the train we got on took this to another level. Could barely move a muscle. Arrived at the ground in good timing to soak up the atmosphere. From 21:00 - 00:00 it speaks for itself. Mix of anxiety, ecstasy, jubilation, tension and euphoria followed. So many emotions running through the body when Drogba stepped up for the all important penalty. Got back to hotel at around 05:00 as we were exhausted from a very long and tiring day but one i'll never forget and cherish for the rest of my life. Flight home on Sunday at 13:45 with a large German beer at the airport before departure. The best weekend of my life, truly amazing.
  23. Goes without saying that the atmosphere and anticipation on Friday night and during saturday is going to be great with the German beers flowing and Chelsea songs echoing out around Munich. But just curious what the atmosphere in the ground is going to be like. Perhaps the Munich lads on here can give me an incline to what it's like. Only mentioning this because I feel grounds like Wembley the atmosphere really does lack as it's so spacious and hard to get the whole end singing constantly no matter who is playing there.
  24. Anyone know or think that we will be allowed celery in the ground?
  25. Yeah me to mate. Cant see the loyalty points going much lower than the 82 either.
