Many fans have a split opinion on Zouma, i personally felt while fit he was the best young center back in the league. He was ages ahead of the like of Stones who would be a sh*t purchase. Think he would fit greatly in this back three, the current combination works well but rotate Cahill and Cesar with him would be great. If we don't manage to sign a wing back to cover Alonso we could give Azpi a chance at wing back. However the best option would be Azpilicueta - Luiz - Zouma.

It would obviously be good to win, but we don't need to rush it as even a draw would be a ok result for us. Spurs will probably go all out like City and they could have face the same destiny as them. Yep Bamford had the problem to actually step up, he was amazing in the Championship. Hopefully Tammy will get a good loan in the Premiership and do well so he can be part of our first team.

He is only 24 a regular player for his national squad, the question is can he adapt to wing back? I would personally try Kenedy out and see if he can adapt if not we need cover for Alonso.

The last time we won at three point lane was in the 2012 with a 2-4 win. We also lost one and drew two in that period, they will probably go for the dirty tactics if things don't go their way just like last season hope the boys ignore it and go for the win.

Sad Michy didn't get a chance, however Conte obviously knows what he is doing as Pedro scored a brace. I hope he counts on Batshuayi at some point when he feels he is ready to give him a chance. If a class player like Fabregas can wait for his chance so can Michy, hope he gets it soon and makes the most of it!

He would probably be our best midfielder after Kante , doubt it will happen but i would love it. He will probably take a role in the club.

I feel like didn't understand each other, i am always up for improvement. Having one team for years doesn't help anyone, i was just against changing a team mid season. Of course i wouldn't want another season like the last, but we are hardly in the same position like last season, and i think we had more problems in the club than just the squad. I mean so far so good i am pleased like most of our fans, and this is a forum we debate. We might be right or wrong but both of us want what is best for the club obviously. Yet we agree on Baba, hardly given a chance and a wing back usually is more offensive than defensive so think he could do a good job and he is very fast. The defensive part can always improve

Pedro signed last season, and Moses wasn't a purchase (feels like it though ) so its basically Luiz Kante and Alonso that were bought. However agreed on the not changing things, i am always up for upgrading the squad but not mid season and not the players that are doing well. Almost every player in this team had a game off during the season, no one is brilliant the entire season.

The point is that we ended 2nd which is not a bad effort of a title defense considering what happened last season.

This is basically the same team two years ago that won the title with obvious slight changes in the team, and is on a good way to win a new title with very little change in this team, are you suggesting we should change things every mid season and just work on the team to gel every season? I am all for upgrading the team but not mid season if it is not required. You have the end of the season and the summer to get new players, the entire summer pre season to asses the squad. Replacing Alonso with a new wing back who would need time to adapt would be madness, there is you tipping point.

Loaning out Batshuayi would be equal to title challenge suicide. If Costa gets injured or gets suspended we would be left with only Solanke as our cover option. Hope Michy does well against Bournemouth, as he is only paying the price of Costa's superb form.

He signed this season, not 5 years ago. You would change the team every half season or? The 2009/10 title winning season we were runners up the next season how was that a joke of defending a title? The last was obviously a disaster. We can hardly expect to defend the title every season with such a competitive league. Title defenses are very rare in the last 7 years with no team defending their title. United has a good run with three in a row and us before that.

He is not a marquee signing, that is his main problem. I recall when we signed Azpilicueta everyone doubted that he will ever make it at Chelsea and that he is another player set to be loaned out. Don't fix what is not broken, personally i would only get cover for him so he has competition. Loan deal would be nice, if we would to purchase him i just hope the transfer fee isn't astronomical. Also i think we should be focused more on getting cover for wings backs, we are hardly short on wingers and they all play well.

Quality player but with buying him it would be farewell to Ake and Christensen and maybe even Zouma.

No need to panic buy, i think if we get a chance we can get cover for the wings backs, either buying a new player or getting a loaned out player back.

We dominated Sunderland and have enough chances to score the second, could have easily dropped points with that late shot from Van Aanholt. Score two goals and keep going with a cool head, it's just amazing to think that we have won 10 games in a row with so many good teams defeated.
