Hopefully Matic and Fabregas get the nod in the middle.

Don't see why not, and Michy up front, the debatable position is front right.

Think pedro will come in since he was rested today and Willian was pretty poor today.

Another tough opponent, it's pointless to say that every game because it's premier league, every team can win. But this match is important to us, we should go higher and higher on the table, run away from Liverpool, Arsenal.

Bournemouth never give up, their comeback against Liverpool was impressive, I think they're coming to give us a fight.

We're without our two key players, big loss but we have players that will replace them and do the job!

I'd like to see this starting line:

------------------------------ Courtois -------------------------------

------- Azpilicueta ------- David Luiz --------- Cahill --------------

Moses --------- Fabregas ----------- Matic ----------- Marcos Alonso

--------------- Pedro ------------------------------ Hazard ----------------

------------------------------- Batshuayi ----------------------------------

COME ON CHELS!!!!

Without Kante/Costa, we are practically giving them 2 goals start. I don't fancy Matic/Cesc pairing, Matic doesn't have the legs to cover. However, dropping Cesc now would be a mistake. I reckon it will be the same setup as the team finished the game today, a CM like Chalobah in for Kante, Cesc plays, Hazard/Battshuayi play further forward like 2 strikers.

Should be interesting to see who starts in this one, I reckon:

Courtois, Dave, Luiz, Cahill (C), Moses, Fab, Matic, Alonso, Hazard, Michy, Pedro

That is the most likely side I would say if conte sticks to a 3-4-3 system.

If he however decides to tinker a little bit we could be more of a 3-5-2 with:

Tibo

Azpi

Luiz

Cahill

Moses

Chalobah

Cesc

Matic

Alonso

Hazard

Batman

Forgot to say, a lot of rivals and the media will look to this game for our winning run to come to an end. That may sound a little strange, but they did beat us at the bridge last season.

That not withstanding from what I have read kante and Costa are widely regarded as our two most key players. It is regularly pointed out that when he went to the foxes they became champions, now kante is with us and we are top and the foxes have sunk down the table. Diego is our top scorer. He was superb when we won the title, poor last season, now back on top form.

This is a big proving point for those reasons. We need to show we can win without them.

i worry that a midfield two in 343 with cesc and matic is too slow, especially with cesc's defensive deficiencies, would rather have nate coming in for kante

but watching our performance yesterday when fabregas came on and we switched to 352 was awesome, him having the freedom and loads of space to go forward and ping in from close and from deep was spectacular, so i hope conte switch it up to 352 for this one with matic-nate-cesc, it's his preferred formation after all

Willian should play this one for cover in the mid. Just dont trust the Cesc-Matic combo. Changes everything. And with Costa suspended, we have a massive task on our hands.

If possible I would like to see this

Courtois

Azpi-zouma-GC

Moses-Cesc-Luiz-Alonso

Willian-Batshuayi-Hazard

Probably a bit harsh on Matic, but like I said, just dont trust that pairing one bit.

then don't say it lol..

agreed with that line up.. willian and chalobah would be great options from the bench..

Two Vital Players out (costa and Kante), The team will have a good week to prepare for this game. I think Fabregas has to start, and then if we need to be more defensive we can bring Chalobah on.

My team would be

Courtois

Azbi Luiz Cahill

Moses Fabregas Matic Alonso

Willian Batman Hazard

The crystal ball was asked to come up with a perfect solution to there being no Costa or Kanté for this one. So, naturally, it has decided to change much more than just those two players, including other starters, the bench and the entire formation. Here are the predictions against Bournemouth:

Chelsea (4-2-4): Courtois; Ivanovi?, Terry (c), Zouma, Alonso; Mati?, Oscar; Pedro, Fábregas, Solanke, Hazard
Subs: Eduardo, Aina, Cahill, Azpilicueta, van Ginkel, Loftus-Cheek, Batshuayi

Prediction: Chelsea 1-3 Bournemouth (Hazard)

So, we go back to a 4-2-4 and it hurts us big time as Bournemouth takes all three points, meaning back-to-back losses. Hazard's goal means little, neither does the sight of yet another youth player in Dominic Solanke getting a run. This might also be Oscar's farewell match. Anyway, I'm chuffed with the current form and expecting a 12th win on the trot here. Come on, Blues!

Fascinated to see how we cope without Costa and Kante.

Great opportunity for Michy to prove his worth to the manager and I'd like to see Pedro start ahead of Willian for this match.

Not sure who will replace Kante, but it would be a bold move by Conte to start Chalobah, but I think he will pair Matic with Fabregas.

Come on mate. This is Bournemouth we are playing, not City. There defence is prone to conceding. No need to have three centre mids playing, when 2 are very defensive and Fabregas does not have much attacking qualities. Attack them with two wingers. Pedro/Willian with Hazard and Bats up front.

I'd like to see Pedro in for Willian he causes problems for teams running in behind, teams have learned how to stop Moses overlapping as much, so we need as much going through the middle as we can, it might even be an idea though to play Willian with matic as he has a great engine and put fab or Pedro as part of the front 3, in all cases hazard will need to step up in this game

Fabregas is a bigger attacking threat than Willian.

Play him alongside Chalobah and Matic and relieve him of the defensive burden and he'll dictate the pace of the game from midfield.

Alonso and Moses provide width and an attacking threat from wide positions.

Don't see why a variation on 3-5-2 couldn't work for this game considering the suspensions of Kante and Costa.
