December 23, 20169 yr It's not about loving him it's about appreciating and respecting what he achieved here. Many of us (myself included) have had a go at him for the way he was in his last season at the club. But we really appreciate what he did to this football club which was transform us into winners. The Jose haters are the ones who don't seem to have any appreciation for what he achieved in his time here. Instead focusing on the bad times. There's no blind loyalty or love here it's a fact that he did a lot for this football club the fact that some have turned on him fully to the fact they're obsessed with everything he says shows me that you are a spoilt lot.
December 23, 20169 yr I really don't care what he's achieved at this club. If you leave this club and start talking sh*t about us to appease your new fans you become an enemy. The club will always come first to any individual regardless of his achievements and some of you need to remember that.

It's opinions here, if you think he has no love for our club then fair enough but others believe he still does. It doesn't meant he doesn't want to beat us though and mind games are part of his tactics as a manager. I'm sure when he's finished and he looks back he will have affection for us. Also say he doesn't does that mean we shouldn't appreciate what he achieved with us? I think for certain you are the very definition of what is wrong with a certain calibre of football fan, short memories and very little respect. dont take it personal. i mistakenly picked urs which was just an applause. I wanted to pick the post u were applausing. And no need to define me as certain calibre of football fan. you dont know me and i dont know u. The fact is Jose mourinho labelled our lampard a judas because he went to mancity. Lamps is def a greater blue to me than mourinho but hey what do i know i have a short memory.lol

Just can't get my head around that mor the fact that you'd rather hate on Jose than be happy about what we're achieving this season. What you call talking sh*t I call mind games and end of the day he hasn't called us all w**kers who mean nothing to him or something bad like that. I think people such as yourself are jumping on every little thing he says and turning it into a sh*t storm.
December 23, 20169 yr This is the Bournemouth match thread isnt it ? Perhaps start another one about what Mourinho has been saying this week and people that care can read it.

PERIOD
December 23, 20169 yr The universal rule is not to give Jose oxygen. Ignore him, focus on our game plan. End of story. I'm not sure batman is up to it, but not starting him is just as bad for his confidence as him having a bad game. Is he any better than Pedro as striker at this point? Chalobah or fabregas? You probably go with fab. He doesn't have to work so hard defensively when we have the wing backs. Shame to change the team but it had to happen. Just shows how important costa is.
December 23, 20169 yr one of those days when diego forgot to take his pills diego : "big'e problem, diego is.. es.. e BIG problem" and eduardo cussing out luiz looks like he has taken the role of the grumpy old guy in the team

December 23, 20169 yr Author I don't mind a thread going a bit off topic, but this is way off topic. Any more posts about Jose in this thread will be deleted.
December 23, 20169 yr I'm actually strangely excited to see how we play without Kante and Costa. If we win well I think our teams confidence will only improve as we'll be proving we can do it without those two.

December 23, 20169 yr As coco said stop posting about Jose in the match day thread, go to the Jose thread!
December 23, 20169 yr I'd quite like to see the Fab, Chalobah & Matic Midfield mentioned earlier, but is it going to leave us a bit limp up top? I 100% think Batman should start as well and play the whole game. We need someone who can work the lines and make the runs only a striker knows how to.
December 23, 20169 yr Its a home game they are going to sit back you would imagine, I think 2 Dm's are overkill anyway, I'd have Fab in this game in all cases, but since its kante out, can matic cover as much ground? I'd maybe go Matic and Chalobah to make sure but i dont think Conte will, we need to score here more than worry about their attacking threat hopefully, Bats is up to the job, yes he will be a bit nervous and he hasn't has gametime, but he is a top young player, very dangerous, he will create space and he will get fed chances, we paid 30 million quid for him for this very reason, he isnt a remy (although I quite liked remi) he could be a world class striker if we develop him well, scored 19 goals in Ligue 1 last term, we should win this game 9 times out of 10, lets hope for a bit of History being made on Monday.
December 24, 20169 yr Some stats going in to the game. - The team that has led the Premier League on Christmas Day in five of the last six seasons has gone on to win the title. - Of the seven sides that have put together a run of 10 or more straight wins in a single season, only on two occasions has that team failed to go on and win the title. - There's only been three other occasions in the Premier League era where a side has conceded a lead bigger than Chelsea’s at this stage of the season and lost the title. - Chelsea have topped the table at Christmas in each of their previous four Premier League winning campaigns. - Only one team in the last nine campaigns has recorded more than Chelsea’s current total of 43 points at Christmas. - If Chelsea were to continue at their current pace of 2.5 points per game, the would finish the season with the most points ever in a Premier League season (96).

I think that will fit this match. But it's obviously going to be Fabregas-Matic because Conte wasn't here last season and he has no idea how bad that partnership can be at times.

The problem is stats mean nothing, they would have said no way we finish 10th last season and no way Leicster win the title, we need to concentrate on winning not rest on what previous teams have done we have enough points not to get religated, we can rest on that, we are going to have to win games 90 minutes at a time to do the rest.
