Don't see why a variation on 3-5-2 couldn't work for this game considering the suspensions of Kante and Costa.

Because he can do that even with 2 wingers in the team. It will just make us even more of a threat. Matic and Chalobah with Fabregas is way too conservative. I think Pedro-Hazard-Batshuayi is the best way forward. Willian can come on as supersub.

We really have enough quality to see off Bournemouth easily even without our duo. No jinx of course

It would be Hazard up front with Willian and Pedro besides him.

If they play like they did today against Southampton it's 3 more points in the bag.

watched the game yesterday, their defense are atrocious especially their fullbacks, we should be able to overwhelm them out wide with 343

From yesterday we have the best defense in the league.

I know playing 3 in the midfield may seem a tad much as it's 'only Bournemouth' but they're a fast team and strong on the counter. Don't forget they beat us in this fixture last year, I know it's a completely different Chels but they aren't to be underestimated.

Chalobah joining the midfield allows Cesc to really have the creativity to go forward and supply Michy & Hazard. Also we can't forget how important Kante is, without him breaking up the play we are short and I wouldn't trust a two man midfield with Matic & Cesc. This is a game where we need Moses & Alonso to really bomb forward and supply crosses to Michy. Pedro & Willian haven't excelled of late and I think this slight change of formation could work well, can always switch it up if need be later on in the game as both are good options off the bench.

Hopefully our current "Batman" doesn't turn out to be like the previous one. This is the perfect opportunity for him to show us what he can do. It's a shame he'll probably be back on the bench for the one against Stoke no matter how he does in this one. Then again, with Costa's form and physical side to his game, the choice is obvious for a match against a team like Stoke.

Luiz, Matic and Pedro are now one booking from a suspension. Wonder how Conte will manage this as we can't afford to be without the first two against Spurs.

I wonder if Zouma is ready to start a match yet? He's been on the bench in the previous two matches. Kante will be back for the Spurs match, so I don't think Matic being suspended would be a disaster.
