That was my 1st thought, but that wouldn't push Azpilicueta down the pecking order. Either way, confusing one of the most prolific strikers of this era for a fullback is incredibly poor.

Nice group. No excuses not to win that. City's is fine, they will go through with Bayern. Utd's is trickier than it looks, plenty on here severely underestimating Sociedad, they're a very good team, 4th in La Liga after all. But Utd will probably get through. Arsenal are out.

It's an absolute certainty that we are going to get Napoli at some stage. Ridiculous that Arsenal are in pot 1 and City/Dortmund are in pot 3. It should be based on current strength, not past success. Just gives teams like Arsenal a much easier draw than they deserve. Man Utd are also due a tough group.

Weird signing IMO. Has never striked me as being particularly talented, especially compared to others in the Porto team over the last few seasons. Every time I have seen him play, I've thought he is incredibly one-dimensional, with not much to his game. Have to agree that this transfer is with FFP in mind, but who knows, could be a late bloomer. Would prefer to take Mangala of Porto's hands though...

He may have been sh*t tonight and hasn't exactly set the world alight for us, but surely he will do as backup? Didn't cost that much, probably isn't on ridiculous wages and I doubt he's even started 5 games in a row for us... The difference between him and Lukaku today was quite extraordinary though.
