Why oh why would you give me a glimmer of hope that we could actually get Lewandowski?!?! Can't see him staying at Dortmund, with them already signing Mkhitaryan and Aubameyang (who, by the way, is going to be one hell of a player in a couple of years). We'd probably have to pay a lot less than Bayern would, but it seems that he is intent on going there, which I guess is fair enough, they seem like a decent team.

I think Ramires will be the key man again, breaking up their counters and setting the rest of the team off on counters of our own. Can't see Jose resting too many players, but will be surprised if Hazard starts.

I haven't played the FF14 beta let alone any FF for years, but you seem like a good person to ask... is FFXIII-2 worth getting? I've had in my 'basket' online loads of times, always end up changing it for something else. Reviews are mixed to say the least.

Yep, will be a big test for Cahill (if he plays). He could do with shutting out a top striker, having being turned inside out by Kenny Miller for one of Scotland's goals the other day. Would expect Luiz to start if he's fit though.

A bit of both to be honest, and I would use the same process of rating the players if they were playing Barcelona, hence why my scores were not particularly high. Hopefully I've worded that right, and hopefully it partly explains why I was perplexed by 8/10 for Torres and 9/10 for Cech. I thought it was a solid performance, with an outstanding 1st half hour where we probably should scored a few more, with a pretty tired second half, which is perfectly understandable. Pleasing start to the season, much tougher test on Wednesday though.

Admittedly, my reaction was overly critical on him but was meant to be tongue in cheek, certainly not offensive. I shouldn't be surprised that you were quick to jump in and take the moral high ground though! Pretty standard...

Subs rated higher than Kdb, Cech on a 9 despite having to basically nothing all match. 10 is perfect, can't be beaten so 9 for Cech and Terry seems crazy, let alone 8s for Torres, Lukaku and Cole. Just thought you were being incredibly generous, particularly to Torres.

Ummm yeah... I've just read your post in the player ratings thread. Can't really take you seriously I'm afraid.

Ramires for me, by a mile. As good as the attacking players were, Ramires didn't let Hull anywhere near our defence for over an hour. Won tonnes of free kicks, made loads of tackles and as usual was all over the pitch. Oscar was excellent and De Bruyne was also impressive. @Timetowaste - Come on. If you are seriously suggesting that you think Torres was our best player today, I suggest you go for an eye examination. You're reasoning is that he won a penalty and a freekick, with some good passes? The penalty was just madness from the goalie, nothing special from Torres and the freekick win, was a dive. 1 Excellent pass to Lampard but not a lot else, gave the ball away a lot in the 1st half hour. Torres was ok, but we had at least 6 players that were better. The need to big up his performances baffles me, and if anything, is slightly insulting to the players that were evidently much better. But hey, each to their own and all that...
