Wasn't the issue at the start that he appeared to be Avram Grant volume 2? He has brought in good players, but they haven't exactly been hidden gems (possibly with the exceptions of De Bruyne/Courtois) and if it is right that he recommended FSW to Roman, then it shows he doesn't really hold the fans opinion in high regard. There's something not right about his role there IMO, but in truth we don't know how much authority he really has or how much pull with Roman he has. He does however, deserve plenty of credit for the loan system we have at the moment. Seems to be working a treat.

The way I see it is that Courtois has overtaken Cech. However the difference is not big enough to just dump a player that has been unbelievable for us since he joined and is still playing at a very high level. Until Cech's level drops significantly, he's going nowhere.

Couldn't agree more. They also took away all the cheats that made co-op amazing in SR2. Especially the pimp slap. Being able to slap your mate miles across the city is as good as it gets in a sandbox game. SR2 and 3 were dead cheap a few months after launch, so hopefully number 4 wont take too long. No chance I'm paying £30 for it. Only reason I'll buy it is to play insurance fraud on co-op.

Awwh that sucks! Season 4 was probably the best season I have ever watched off any program. Time to do a 4 episode stint and finish this great show.

Surely Everton could have squeezed more money out of United? The release clause that expired last week was £25mil and they only get £2.5mil more? United were desperate and running out of ideas, surely they could have got a few more out of them. Impressed they kept Baines though. Can't wait for Goodison.

BrewCrew, with all due respect, I think you've lost the plot. You're already having a go at Mourinho, on his team selection and tactics. However, as far as I can tell we have 7 points from 3 games (including ManUtd away, by the way). You might have gone a season unbeaten on football manager, but I still don't think that qualifies you to say how Mourinho should be doing his job.
