I decided that I wasn’t going to watch any of the coverage and watched the match with the sound down Of course it was a tactical master class from a brilliant Liverpool, and Chelsea got what they deserved because of their dirty Russian money.

There is no blame on Kepa……. If there is anyone to blame it is TT, the game Mendy was having he should have forgone the pen save reputation of Kepa. Often gut feel has to come on to play and Mendy was having a blinder.

After all the appalling rhetoric about Roman and our club this week, plus the fact that I expected nothing from this final on form……. I am really proud of the team, including Kepa who has proved to be a wonderful servant to this club

Spot on in my opinion. From memory Roman converted his initial investment, a debt on the clubs balance sheet, into shares probably around 15 years ago when I think there was tensions rising with Russia over something else. A smart move back then and put in place if anything happen to him or sanctions. I believe also one of the main trustees was his son at the time, not sure if that is still the case, however the board of trustees are essentially the Chelsea board. As we know there are some smart people on that board. for me nothing to worry about in the short term other than those poor Ukrainian people stop the war !

I had to listen to the match in the car today on 5live. Apart from his miss in the first few minutes the commentators didn’t mention Lukaku once ….. I’ll reserve full judgment for when I watch the match back but it just don’t bode well for me for £100m man mind you we could have paid £100m for Jack Grealish , at least we didn’t do that 😂😂
