Totally agree. No sense in risking injury to an already tired team. Play some of the ones that need minutes

I'd like to see some of the youngsters get playing time, but I also think that Tuchel will need to play some of the starting players to gain some match fitness for the CWC after two weeks' of no football.

Depends on their condition. For sure Silva needs this one off after playing for Brazil on this break.

So, we truly have this weekend off? The PL and FA sure they don't want to reschedule 3 or 4 matches between now and Feb 5?

Said the same thing; had to investigate first to make sure I wasn't seeing things

Optimistic the break is just what the team needed. Don’t think I matters who plays in this one, but I’d like to see Werner and havertz get more minutes. Not far off James coming back either.

Indeed, and we can extend the break for some by skipping this game and give Silva and actual break by having him miss it since he is away playing for Brazil while everyone else bar Pulisic is able to rest.

Well Kenedy stayed so if we are going to see him play any games surely it has to be this one and/or the CWC semi.

Would mean we switch to a back 5 though most likely.

Why don’t they reschedule the teams that are on 20 or 21 games so they can catch up ????
