yes he did, I think he was exaggerating but you get his point. If he can get 18 for that bollox team he played in last season..... If he had the service that Havertz, Werner, Lukaku et al had last season it is not that far fetched, he knows how to put them away even in decline. Don't get me wrong he is far from my ideal signing, and no way would I sign him for more than a season but if I was in charge and there is a deal to be struck I would take a punt. just my opinion.

All this talk of tactics are meaningless to me. One man doesn't change everything but if you want get goals for a season, I agree with Roy Keane for once, he will get 50 for us. Take a punt, leverage his contract towards pay per goal. in the grand scheme of things he is not going to be that expensive compared to the revenue he will generate. If it don't work drop him. I would take a gamble, he is still an incredible player.

I got to be honest, I am now in my mid 50's and have mostly worked for US multi-nations all my life and have always been talked to like I am 10 years old, or a piece of sh*t on someone's shoes. I would say this is typical corporate life. There is a lot of lip service given by companies about employee welfare, anti-bullying, etc. work life balance is the one that gets me every time, hilarious. The company I work for is now pushing mindfulness our way - its crap. Make the numbers, do more for less, no resource given or else leave at the end of the day. We even got tele programs about it, isn't The Apprentice just that ? Mind you I only watched it once, and to be fair I would shout at that lot! where do they get these people from ? 🙂 Don't see why a high profile, high value football club should be any different.
