Chelsea have gone backwards by not recruiting...
I remember we drew at Stoke under AVB I believe? Don't think we've failed to win since then, but can't remember every game.

I think he'll be a good signing for them, and a definite upgrade on Navas or Nasri. Their front 4 would probably be as good or better than ours after that: Sterling - KDB - Silva Aguero

If only we made signings that could make as positive an impact as Arsenal's did yesterday.

I guess Arsenal just got... ...a reality cech.- Following Our Nearest & Dearest Rivals, 2015/2016
I'd forgotten all about Arsenal Fan TV, that is going to be magnificent.- Following Our Nearest & Dearest Rivals, 2015/2016

Sometimes I wonder how us Chelsea fans always seem to be treated to such hilarious brilliance as what is happening right now. Would be devastated being an Arsenal fan talking big for months only for this to happen.- Following Our Nearest & Dearest Rivals, 2015/2016
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The only way this could be any funnier is if Cech boots the ball into his own goal.- Following Our Nearest & Dearest Rivals, 2015/2016
West Ham take the lead, classic Arsenal. Not worried about them.- José Mourinho Confirmed as Chelsea Manager!
Glad we have so many behavioral psychologists on this site.- José Mourinho Confirmed as Chelsea Manager!
Can't agree with what Jose said about Eva, but i'm hoping that he'd spoken to her privately and assured her its just another ploy to draw pressure off the players.- Chelsea vs. Swansea (PL) 08/08/15 KO 17:30 BST
Looks like I guessed right with my comment a few above yours.- Chelsea vs. Swansea (PL) 08/08/15 KO 17:30 BST
You know what I find strange? That Arsene Wenger never won the champions league at all.- Chelsea vs. Swansea (PL) 08/08/15 KO 17:30 BST
I'd agree if Cech was one of our best players and not our reserve goalkeeper.- Chelsea vs. Swansea (PL) 08/08/15 KO 17:30 BST
I thought Willian played well. edit: aside from playing Gomis onside.- Diego "the guv'nor" Costa
I think he played pretty well today, Williams should have been off for that shove at the end once Costa had gotten through. Loved him shoving over their keeper in about the 3rd minute of the game.- Chelsea vs. Swansea (PL) 08/08/15 KO 17:30 BST
Willian obviously made a mistake in playing him on, and Courtois in hindsight shouldn't have come out, particularly as Gomis couldn't hit a barn door up until that point, but I can't help but wonder why JT and Cahill were pushing on so high up the field. In the latter half of last season you would never have seen that, but I suppose these are the risks we run when we try to play a more expansive game. But if, at 2-1, we revert to our style of play of the latter half of last season, that scenario never arises for me.- MOTM vs Swansea (H) (PL)
ehh Hazard was easily the man driving us forward after the sending off, prior to that it was an all-around good team performance where i'd perhaps give the edge to Willian, however he was at fault for playing Gomis onside and essentially costing us 2 points. Actually going to go with Begovic, made quite a few good saves. Hazard a close 2nd but I don't think he was quite at his best today in terms of sharpness, the effort was certainly there but a few times he got to the edge of the box and stopped and went backwards when we needed to move quicker. edit: Oscar also played well, I wonder if perhaps we should have taken off Fabregas for Begovic instead of Oscar, hindsight and all..- Chelsea vs. Swansea (PL) 08/08/15 KO 17:30 BST
I think we played well and were in control of the game until the sending off. A bizarre AVB-esque high line and offside trap led to the penalty and from that point it was always going to be an uphill struggle. On the plus side, Oscar and Willian played well, Costa didn't get injured and Begovic was really good when coming down. Down side, 2 points lost and no Courtois for City, although I think Begovic based upon todays performance will do fine. My take on the major talking points - Courtois red was deserved, it was on the line which apparently counts as in the box so in that case he was correct to award the peno too. But Williams should have been off for shoving Costa in the back as the last man at the end of the game there, that was a definite f**k up by Oliver. Oh well, 37 games to go.- Chelsea vs. Swansea (PL) 08/08/15 KO 17:30 BST
Great first 45, hopefully this dispels the doom and gloom from this forum and we kick on in the second half.- Following Our Nearest & Dearest Rivals, 2015/2016

Great game at Goodison so far, used to live just around the corner from Watford so glad to see them doing well.- Unholy Confessions
Your post stated that the rest of us are misinformed in contrast to your well-informed self. Then I went on to show that the players that actually play with and against the players that formed the basis of your example of how well-informed you are, all disagree with you, as evidenced by the players awards given in the year in question So, being the well-informed gentleman that you are, you attempt to discredit the awards by a) claiming that because you have a fancy colored diagram with some online stats you know better than everyone else including apparently those that actually play with and against the players in question b) claiming that because Ryan Giggs once won the award in question while only playing 8 games they are therefore meaningless. So I have a few problems with these statements. The first is that, your original post talked about their respective 2013-2014 seasons. Those stats are from the 2014-2015 season. The second is that those stats don't even show Sterling to be even better. The third is that, Ryan Giggs won the PFA YPOTY in '92 and '93, playing 38 and 41 league games respectively. Unless you were talking about when Giggs won the PFA POTY in 2009, when he only managed 29 league games! I must say, for someone who publicly prides themselves on having such well-informed opinions, there is a startling amount of misinformation in your posts! - Following Our Nearest & Dearest Rivals, 2015/2016
