So with the constant back and forth surrounding Ramires, Mikel, Falcao etc., I thought we needed a dedicated thread in which we can all express our opinions which don't tend to fit in with everyone else.

1) I like Rio Ferdinand as a pundit. I don't blame him for backing his brother in the Terry affair and find him like Neville to be far more objective than the Scouse pundits.

2) Courtois has potential but right now is a tad overrated. However I realise that much of his game will come with age and its unfair to expect him to be the best in his position so young.

Funnily enough I felt the same about camel face..Mind you, when you're standing next to Ian Wrong and Glenda Hoddle you probably would sound good (not that Hoddle doesn't talk sense its just the way he puts his opinions across that sounds funny at times)

I still think he was out of order with some of his tweets though re: the Terry affair, but what after what happened  to Ferdinand's Wife I felt I needed to get a grip and realise what's important in life.

I absolutely agree with both points.

1. Family comes first;

2. The player has at least one mental lapse every game. his favorite is his decision to always try to dribble past opponents and lose the ball. that decision Cost chelsea a goal last season and he did the same thing against PSG, Barcelon and Arsenal --- last three games in preseason

I dont think mine is unholy but:

1. Ramires is the most brainless player I have ever seen in my life, I truly despise this thing as a player.

2. Oscar is horribly overrated. I can guarantee he will fizzle out by November again and then lie that he is tired and needs a year to rest. he will be sold by next summer.

I get more frustrated by his positioning, but I think having had Cech for so long we've become accustomed to having someone who has always been one of the top 5 in the world in goal, with over a decade more experience than Courtois. I think he'll come good, but right now I think Cech is still better.

1) I don't think RLC has what it takes to break through into the Chelsea team.

2) I like Robbie Savage as a pundit, at least he tries to have an opinion regardless of how stupid it might be.

3) I hate that every opinion Gary Neville has is now football gospel in England.

4) Deep down I have a man crush on Cuadrado and that's why I give him such a hard time.

5) I often don't bother watching Jose's post match press conference because he normally just chats sh*t.

6) There's something about Steve Holland I don't like but I have no idea what it is.

1.) Ramires is at best an MLS-tier player

2.) I hate it that we play a right back at left back just to suit Ivanovic, any width is negated by the fact that Azpi is right-footed. He's a good defender, but his attacking qualities are pretty much non-existent on that side. I'm honestly shocked we've been doing this for almost 2 years now. I honestly can't wait till Ivanovic falls out of favor and Azpi can finally play as a right back.

1) what is the point of Mikel in the squad

2) I Love both Terry and Ivanovic for their Bravery and team Ethnics but I am beginning to wonder if two oldies who are not blessed with pace will haunt us sooner rather then later.

3) I Believe Falcao will come good.

1) I don't think RLC has what it takes to break through into the Chelsea team.

2) I like Robbie Savage as a pundit, at least he tries to have an opinion regardless of how stupid it might be.

I agree with both these and both of the opening post.

Savage is prepared to take on the scouse pundits, and dares to disagree with them.

I hate Garth Crooks as a pundit

1. I liked having Torres here, I just can't unlike the fella.

2. I walked out the room when Lampard scored against us and never watched his interviews after it until he left.

3. Mikel and Ramires are the luckiest footballers out there to still be playing for us.

4. I still rate Salah

5. Pat Nevins voice does my head in

1.  I wish Torres was still at Chelsea, I liked how he was a 'flop' because he was our flop.

2. I think Mikel is abysmal.  Sorry to anyone who rates him.

3.  When John Terry retires it will be the end of what I consider 'my' Chelsea team that I've grown up with and I will probably, sadly, be less invested in the club.

1. Sometimes I don't like what Jose says, Infacr during his return here I've found myself a little annoyed at a few things he's said

2. I don't get the love for Mikel and I get frustrated when people bring up the CL final, yes he played well that day but it was over three years ago

3. I like Robbie Savage, Steve McManaman and Danny Murphy as pundits

4. I also am not convinced RLC has what it takes and I think many that do are desperate for him to do well

5. I get annoyed when people moan about Willian

6. Due to my recent issues I've actually lost a little love for the game and I probably won't be watching as much football this season and beyond

1. never been a fan of cahill, think once terry's gone and without him constantly barking up orders he'll get exposed

2. i still have high hopes for cuadrado and want him to stay for this season

3. i don't think RDM is a great manager, he's not a good tactician but he's really good at man-management, instilling confidence in players etcetera. and as you all may know that season seems like it's already written in the stars and he's there in the right place and at the right time, but still love the man to death

4. somehow i'm a fan of swp when he was here, i myself can't explain that

5. it's more of a personal guilt but, i think falcao will be a flop but i'm still contemplating about buying a falcao jersey just because it looks really cool

1. Still not 100% convinced by costa, his injuries haven't helped but I guess I just don't see him in the same league as suarez or aguero. Love his fight though and il be happy if he can stay fit and keep scoring

2. Wish Mourinho would come across a little more likable at times. I love what he has done for this club but i prefered di matteo, vialli, and ancelotti for how they carried themselves as manager.

3. I don't think any of this current crop of youngsters will make it at chelsea. Lewis baker is a better player than rlc, but he hasn't had a look in really.

4. As much as I moan about how negative the press can be about us, I secretly love it because it makes winning that little bit sweeter.

1) I don't think RLC has what it takes to break through into the Chelsea team.

6 is funny, I get the same feeling about Holland. I think he just lacks charisma.

1) I watch PSG with envy and would replace most of their squad with ours

2) Matic is overrated (getting caught in possession in the opening minute of the Community Shield was inexcusable, was guilty of simple and avoidable mistakes on several occasions last season too, lacks De Rossi's craft

3) Ramires/Mikel (I've praised both on here but only because we have to make do with what we have)

4) Tibo - may have it all wrong but for all his ability comes across as a bit of a pompous twat tbh

5) Our failure to sign Pirlo, De Rossi, Ibrahimovic, Vidal, Suarez

1. When I watch us Europe against psg and other teams of that bracket and mid range I think wow look at the passing triangles movement shots there tacking etc and we just pass move side wards forwards pass again it's like barca under gudiola was so impressed watching psg

2. Mikel would be great in a mid range team but he is so obvious with what he does etc would love to sell him I always do on fifa and football manager

3. Love chaareger neville Henry and hoddle keane too you can tell what ones know the game inside out

4. Agree with some points on costa we need another back up on top of him only zlatan I feel would be able to play the Mourinho way couldn't get a higuan Benzema etc they work on splitting passes quick fast play not our slow build up

5. Thought we played better attacking under ancholitti but better defensive under Mourinho

6. don't understand how we never play 2 up from start got perfect big man little man in Costa and Remy

8. Been to all youth cup final since Blackburn I feel some should have been thrown in after that like harry kane last season but we won't take that 6 month gamble playing them letting them make mistakes etc

9. Watch teams like palace sawnsea even Liverpool and most European teams I'm like listen to that atmosphere ours is putrid goes for a bit then dyes out some grounds on sky it's deafening I get told stories of back in the old day the bridge was rocking everytime iv been since 97 only then and into early 00s did I hear proper noise

10. Hating to say it but falling more in love with non league football my team Harlow town FC absolutely fantastic atmosphere speak to players after the game know the owners etc you feel like your part of the club and can have a beer while watching the game shirt last season 25 quid including printing Chelsea is 60+ also all fans know each other mix etc last time I went to the bridge felt like a tourist tried convo and blanked completely

11. Loved watching Eddie howes Bournemouth last season style everything don't think they will stay up though but will be closest thing to Blackpool in entertainment

12. Actually think Wenger needs so much praise more than he gets for what he's done in changing the culture him le saux gullitt hoddle Bergkamp and few others really stopped the old pales drinking acts like Bruce Robson person 2 etc

13. Would love to see how in the peak zola wise would get on would forrsell be a super sub flo how would he get on stanic even many more think zola would be bombed out under Mourinho personally

14. Buy verreti absolutely roasted us bring in I like yanick bolsi of palace too just think they could add something different

15. Willian I love to hate hate the tippy tappy and cutting back just get a cross in the box love that he will fight and does try he actually reminds me of gronkier for every 1 great game needs 5 bad games never new who was gonna turn up but scored most important goal as let ambramavich buy us saved us from going bust etc so maybe he will do another scenario last goal at old Stamford Bridge would be epic

Well that's my thoughts any feedback to that

Good thread.

My confession is that I am genuinely ashamed with how Roman made his billions. It was a dark and chaotic time in Russia and most of the people who rose to power during it exploited the turmoil to the detriment of the Russian people. Very similar to what happened in my own country at the same time and that wasn't pretty.

The only way I can square this with my love for the club (which existed years before he came around) is that it isn't up to me, I can't change it, so I might as well enjoy the ride.

1. I hate to say it but I don't think any of our youth will make it in the first team.

2. I don't understand why we haven't improved our squad players such as Mikel & Rami as I think we could have better players, whether they'd he happy or not is another question.

3. I'm frustrated at our lack of signing any star players since Hazard and it worries me that it could lead to him wanting to move elsewhere due to lack of help in the attacking areas.

4. I think Ivan is really overrated on here, yeah he's terrific scoring goals from full back but was caught out of position numerous times last year.

5. I still hold a bit of a grudge against Lamps & Cech which I don't/won't feel for Cole, Terry, Drogs.

Eden Hazard will never be as good as Ronldo.

I think most people agree, but thats hardly a criticism when Ronaldo's one of the best of all time. I'd compare him more to Iniesta with his dribbling and the way he conducts the attack.

I think that Terry and Fabregas hold us back.

Mourinho should have got more blame for the way we exited the champions league last season.

Willian is currently the 2nd or 3rd best Chelsea player

Cech is overrated.  His faults are glossed over.  At corners he was no longer a commanding presence.

1) I actually quite like Robbie Savage now - he doesn't take himself seriously and is quite funny.  But I absolutely hated him when he played for Blackburn.

2)  I am often quite amused by Joey Barton too (and I must admit, occasionally I I feel he talks sense)

3) I often find that I have absolutely no clue whether we've played well or not as I am just tensely watching hoping for us to score/win.

4) I often prefer the non-footballing threads on TSE.

5)  I still am hopeless at formations and the like

Is this because of how easy it is to crowd him off the ball? Not that I'm slating your opinion just genuinely curious why.
