I think he's played pretty badly so far this season, goal aside. If not for Ivanovic playing even worse more people probably would have noticed.

Happy we aren't getting him now for that sort of fee, in a few years when his contract is running down we'll be able to get him for cheaper than this even if he does hit his potential ceiling.

Who could do a better job than Willian I wonder? Of the 20-30 we've bought in his position in the Roman era, all of whom had big reputations, big price tags, how many have actually been better than Willian? Hazard - yes Robben - yes but was injured half the time anyway Mata - better individually, but perhaps not as good for our team's success on the whole Malouda - maybe for 1 season out of the 6 or 7 he was here? Aside from that, there's another 20 or so players that haven't been as good as Willian, I think that puts in to perspective that he's not too bad after all. Not every player in the team has to score goals to be useful.

I never found either of them anywhere near as dislike-able as say a Busquets, Alves, Alba or Xavi. Particularly not Pedro who was supposedly the most down to earth, hardworking guy in their team.

I'm happy he won't be here, but I feel like we probably could have done at least a bit better, unless somehow Pogba is involved in this at some point.

Messi, Suarez, Aguero, maybe Lewandowski and Ibra.. I'd say probably hovering around the 4-6 mark dependent on form.

I'd say Courtois deserves the second highest score, maybe an 8.5 for his penalty save and a few other quality saves throughout the match.

I think he's played well thus far aside from that absolute choke of a finish, he gives us a lot of energy going forward and unless i'm remembering wrong, played a role in at least one of our goals?

One thing I will say, when we're defending on our left flank, Hazard is defending with Dave. When its on the right hand side, its Fabregas with Ivanovic. Pedro isn't giving enough support perhaps on that side.

Ivanovic is a hilariously bad footballer this season so far. And Dave hasn't been much better.
