Jose has been bleating and needing more depth and competition for the defence, well now he's got it.

We've shipped five goals in two games so obviously something isn't working. Mix it up a bit, throw the lad in at the deep end and move Dave to the right back role.

I don't think stubbornly picking the same XI players is the answer... There is no hint of form at the moment so rather than sticking our fingers in our ears shouting "la la la" and convincing ourselves everything is fine isn't the answer.

Use the new found depth and be proactive with looking for a resolution.

Really can't see going straight into the team. I think a back four of Azpi zouma Terry rahman, would give us better balance.

Looking forward to seeing him in action.

It's a bit annoying he will be at acon every couple of years though.

Never watched him play. Obviously hope it works out but most of all I never want to see Azpilicueta at left back ever again.

He may have actually arrived at the best time. Bringing in new faces has proven in the past to get teams going again. He will also be aware of today's result so probably feels that he has a great chance to prove himself.

Don't know this guy so i never saw him play, but Ivanovic deserves to be dropped so he can get a chance.

I think a start is to soon, he has to settle in and i can't see that happening in just a week. I can imagine him getting some minutes though.

Azpilicueta is the best 1:1 defender in the league, probably the best full back in the league along with Zabaleta, and when he plays on the right he actually looks good going forward. It's not really his fault that he cant go forward at left back, so hopefully Rahman's signing means we can bench Ivanovic for a while and play Dave in the correct position. If Rahman likes to get forward then that will also create space for Hazard as well, and Dave being able to play on the right will make space for our right wingers too. We look stifled and crowded out a lot of the time because our full backs don't always get forward, so this could help that. Still need another signing or two though. 

Can you see Jose sticking Dave back on RB for next week after not playing there for ages, and Baba on the left?

Quite a shake up, not sure he would gamble like that.
