  1. Basically I reckon we should try and score goals while at the same time try to avoid conceding them. Should we do that I think we have a good chance of winning.
  2. Willian. I'm assuming we're going to have a lot of the ball so I'd consider Hazard and Oscar more important. Willian would be most effective coming on later when ideally we'd have a lead and they are a bit more open. Again this is all on the assumption that we're going to be able to dominate possession against them but god knows what will happen given our season so far.
  3. Right, a team that only lost 1 of the 15 games it played while Cuadrado was at the club. Why do you excuse Cuadrado for playing like absolute sh*te then say that everyone else was sh*te when clearly that wasn't the case? That is called grasping at straws.
  4. He never looks particularly excited about anything on the pitch, even when he scores. He reminds me a little of Anelka. Quality player though, should be getting far more game time.
  5. I certainly wouldn't mind that starting line-up. Would prefer to see Kenedy start though.
  6. He could barely even control the ball when he played for us, I don't see how that is Jose's fault. Literally probably the 2nd worst player i've seen for us in the Roman era after Benayoun. And it's not being bitter, if you look back through the thread before he was loaned out you'll see the same sentiments from me and nearly everyone else.
  7. If only we hadn't sent Torres and Marin out on loan and given them more of a chance. We'd probably be top of the league.
  8. I can understand Fabregas copping it for his form since January, but I can't agree that he isn't able to play in he midfield and be very, very good at it. If the isn't able to do so, how do you explain his form in the first half of last season when he was on track to smash the EPL assists record and was the frontrunner to be awarded EPL player of the season? Jose should be trying to work out what has changed since then and be trying to get him back to that form, because when he plays like that he is the best player in the team. He shouldn't just discard him, what a waste of talent.
  9. Lucky we have the best manager in world football, and one of the most talented squads in world football.
  10. Echoes my sentiments exactly. Unfortunately the ratio of hotheads to rational supporters has spiraled out of control on here over the last few weeks.
  11. It's terribly unfortunate that all our players are playing in Euro 2016 and no-one in any of the other teams in the league is.
  12. At the very least the rest of this season, assuming we recover to at least compete for a champions league spot. He should then be given the opportunity to remedy the deficiencies in the squad over next summer and then the start of next season to implement those changes. So for me, assuming we at least compete for top 4 this season (which i'm sure we will), he should get at least until next Christmas.
  13. We don't know that he would have done badly at any of his previous clubs had he stayed, particularly as he left two of them immediately after winning the treble...
  14. If he's never been in a situation where his team is performing badly does that not speak volumes about how good he is at his job and only support the notion that he be given ample time to fix it?
  15. As dkw said in another thread, do you not think that Jose has earned the right to be given the opportunity to fix this?
  16. I give Jose at the very least the rest of this season, next summers transfer window and the first few months of next season before I start having any doubts about his ability to fix whatever is going wrong.
  17. No-one on this board takes your ridiculous posts seriously so i'm not offended.
  18. With Terry out of the team, in theory we wouldn't need to play such a deep line which is often what causes the gaps in between Matic and the defence.
  19. If you watched him against Palace and thought he was garbage then you're a complete idiot.
  20. This thread brought to you by Darogba. Creator of other quality topics like "I think he's lost the dressing room" and "Can we keep Hazard?".
  21. time to stop posting
  22. I don't know why he would have signed that contract unless he was assured that if Real came for him in January or next summer they would let him leave. In return, he gets to actually play this season. Benefits both parties.
  23. Not at all concerned, I think all we lose is a bit of height when defending set pieces but aside from that, Begovic has shown himself to be a class shot stopper.
  24. Will obviously be relevant but while it is pretty much the only factor we go off to suggest personnel changes, it is only one of many things he can look at to make decisions. For all we know Baba is getting skinned by Mikel every training session.
