David Luiz back at Chelsea
The only thing that has me paying any attention to this is that Sky Sports picked it up too. From what I can see we likely did make a big but PSG have told us to get f**ked.

Diego "the guv'nor" Costa
So long as he's playing as well as he has so far this season I don't really care.
-
Marcos Alonso
From memory when we signed Baba he had led the league (Bundesliga) in tackles, so I now take these statistics with a pinch of salt.

David Luiz back at Chelsea
Doesn't look like it's going to happen, not sure if I would have wanted it to happen, it's hard not to love the bloke when he's on your side but at the same time he became such a defensive liability that he spent most of his last season here playing in midfield.
-
Patrick Bamford - should he get a chance?
Hope he can make an impact, I feel like this season will be his last opportunity to prove he is worth giving a shot in our first team before we move on.

Eduardo
I think come the end of the season, we'll look back at this signing as a pivotal moment not only in the context of this year, but in the history of the club.
-
Ricardo Rodriguez
He may have seen what happened to Baba, Felipe Luis and Bertrand.

The Chronicles of Brendan 'Cringe Worthy' Rodgers
They went through even though they lost 2-0 in Israel tonight.

Chelsea down under
I've found pretty good quality streams so far, if Optus thinks they can manipulate people into switching over to the worst phone/internet provider in the country by holding the PL hostage, they are sadly mistaken.

Watford v Chelsea- Sat 20 Aug- 15:00
That is an incredibly generous rating for Ivanovic, who seemed to only take a break from giving away possession when it was time for him to not defend his area, including his absence from the far post for Watford's goal.

Giorgio Chiellini
No chance, it's about as likely as Juventus buying John Terry.
-
Marko Marin
Played the grand sum of 143 league minutes for us and still managed to score against QPR, best of luck Marko.

Chelsea Vs Burnley (PL) Sat 27/08/ 2016 KO 15:00 GMT
Courtois Ivanovic, Terry, Cahill, Dave Kante, Matic Willian, Hazard Costa, Michy If Willian is still unavailable then i'd rather see Moses than Pedro start. I think we've played our best this season with 2 up front, and while Fabregas probably deserves a start, I think we'd be far too open playing 2 up front and with him in the midfield. Would have preferred Aina to Ivanovic if he hadn't just gotten injured too. Should be a win but you never know these days.

Third Striker? (realistic/available options) -
Absurd that we aren't using Remy as a 3rd striker, proven in the PL, already settled in the squad and has a decent goals/minutes ratio for us. And just to add to the absurdity, we just loaned out a young striker good enough that Ajax wanted him. And if that wasn't enough, we're looking to throw around money on yet another striker yet don't seem to be making any progress on bolstering our patchwork defence.

Michy Batshuayi to Chelsea
New fan favourite I think, seems to be a genuinely good guy and hilarious to boot, personality-wise almost reminds me a bit of David Luiz, fortunately his on the field contributions seem to be a lot more predictable (in a good way).
-
Loic Remy looking to stay
It's a shame and a bizarre decision considering we only have 2 other strikers, one of which is injury prone and seem to be playing best with 2 up front..

Chelsea Vs West Ham (PL) Mon 15/08/ 2016 KO 20:00 GMT
It's funny, after a few months away from the PL and much Chelsea related news, I forgot how absurd some of the coverage we receive is. The press and social media acting as if West Ham were hard done by because Costa lost out on a 50/50 and didn't get a second yellow after a very soft first, and totally ignoring that Oscar should have had a peno in the first half, and that their goal only came by way of an abysmal dive by Carroll. Suits me so long as it doesn't influence future refereeing of Diego. Seems like enough numpties are going to totally ignore how fresh we looked today, playing at a tempo I haven't seen us play in years, with our key players returning to form we haven't seen for 18 months.

Chelsea Vs West Ham (PL) Mon 15/08/ 2016 KO 20:00 GMT
Best performance i've seen from Hazard, Oscar, Matic and Costa in a long time. Can't believe the ref got fooled by that sh*te dive from Carroll, abysmal. Massive relief to see that well deserved winner go in, brilliant strike.

No more EPL on Foxtel =( Straya
Found a decent online stream this morning, Optus can go f**k themselves.
-
Pelle
Can't blame him, bang average player near the end of his career, he'll be set for life after a few relaxing years in the Chinese league.

The Euro 2016 Thread
Unbelievable he tried to play on a for a good 5 minutes after his upper and lower leg had been twisted in opposite directions, Messi probably would have retired on the spot.

No more EPL on Foxtel =( Straya
I refuse to be swindled by Optus so i'll also alternate between watching online streams, and heading into the city to watch the bigger games with the local supporters club in the pub.

Chuffed for Ronaldo and Portugal, there is now no debate about who is the greatest of this generation.

Paul Pogba - Needs to Sign!
Just knocked a few million quid off his value with his performance tonight.

Guus Hiddink - New (old) Chelsea-manager
Well I must say Capello was certainly better than Roy or McClaren. Of the names seriously mentioned, I like the thought of Bilic the most. I think we'll end up with Pardew though.
