  1. Nobody can compete with PSG's financial backing though. Paying over £50 million for one player is just insane, he's good but not THAT good. So much for Financial Fair Play huh?
  2. Get. The. **** Out. Suarez is rightfully the most hated player in the league. Nobody in their right mind would have him at their club.
  3. Just a hunch, I'd of provided sources if I was going to explicitly state something.
  4. I really think that this is going to go ahead. If not today then certainly by the end of the week.
  5. Mourinho committed to Lukaku during his press conference, Demba Ba is low maintenance and didn't cost us much. Process of elimination... that only leaves Torres.
  6. Twitter going ballistic at the moment. Just Twitter I know but there's no smoke without fire.
  7. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/chelsea/10140249/Chelsea-agree-49.3-million-deal-for-Napoli-striker-Edinson-Cavani-to-see-off-Manchester-City-challenge.html Chelsea have agreed a £49.3 million fee for Napoli striker Edinson Cavani, according to the Italian club's official radio station.
  8. I was against this at first but the more I think about it the more I'm willing to give it a go. It could work, it really could. Rooney to Chelsea would be the transfer of the summer without a doubt.
  9. Going to make a prediction right here. First game against Hull at home, we bring down the roof cheering Mourinho... Mourinho starts Lukaku... he scores within 5 minutes. Stamford Bridge implodes.
  10. I'm gutted for David Moyes. Moyes: This is my time at last to make a true mark on the Premier League. I'm the manager of Manchester United! Nothing can stop me surely! Mourinho: Problem?
  11. Juan Mata is going nowhere. Every single one of our rivals is salivating at the absurd prospect of Juan Mata suddenly appearing on the market, Arsenal especially. it seems according to "Goonersworld". Shows just how valued and respected he is by our opponents. Certain parts of the media are terrified that Chelsea will run riot this coming season now that Eden Hazard, Oscar, and Juan Mata have forged a fearsome team - the return of Jose Mourinho has only exacperated this further. They're desperate to unhinge Chelsea in any way they can. Torres was only thrown into the mix as a means of adding some remote validity to the "rumors". The revelation today that Mourinho seemingly wants to give Torres his final shot completely crushes any remote truth that these rumors may well have had. Torres and Mata are well-known close friends off the pitch and as long as one is here... you can be certain that the other will be.
  12. Throughout the conference I could not shake the suspicion that Jose wants to fashion himself as the new Alex Ferguson: Here for the long term and out to forge a dynasty. He did seem a lot more 'mellow' than we've ever known him... What I do find funny though is the hordes of obvious Manchester United fans ranting on every single Jose story on SSN about how "Jose is only at Chelsea because he got turned down for the United job". If ANY United fan thinks that the Glazers wanted David Moyes as their first choice as Alex Ferguson's replacement they're f**king delusional. We all know who both they AND Ferguson wanted to fill the void. Don't be surprised if, especially if Moyes proves to be a bad fit for United, in his biography Ferguson regrets that he could not convince Jose to turn his back on Chelsea.
  13. Hate to sound like a broken record but... Maybe... just maybe... it's Jose that breaks Fernando's curse. Well let's face it, if Jose cannot do it then literally nobody can.
  14. We want to sell Juan Mata, our best player for the last two seasons, to a potential rival? Bull f**king sh*t
  15. Opposition fans right now. Our fans right now.
  16. I felt a great disturbance in the Premier League... almost as if thousands of opposition fans suddenly screamed in terror and were then silenced...
  17. Story refusing to go away and multiple outlets reporting it. Suggests the story has legs. Shame, I really really like David Luiz and we should not be getting rid of him. Barcelona are reportedly after him for £30mil.
  18. THE LORD OF LONDON RETURN OF THE KING Welcome home Jose Mourinho!!
  19. Doubt we'll hear it today. It's either going to be on Monday or sometime later next week.
  20. I think it's pretty safe to say that he's going to be here. Expecting the announcement on Monday. ...Or he drops the bombshell in the press conference after the Osasuna game and says it then, which would probably piss Roman off.
