He can play on the left as well. I suspect he'll be backup to Ashley Cole.

As much as I rate him, he's not really what we need. Would rather Zhirkov for LB cover, and to provide us an attacking option. As far as RB, think we have enough coverage in Ivanovic

He's superb, but I'm not really sure we need him... he would be a first team starter for sure, as he's quality, but I'd rather us concentrate on other positions first to be honest

Maicon would be an excellent signing as Bosingwa can play wide right as his defending is a bit suspect. Ivanovic is not a right back and offers little going forward. I think we should loan out Ivanovic rather than sell him as he's a quality centre half and it's clear he's keen for first team football. Far superior to alex
