TheWestwayWonder
Sadly, and forgive me for saying this, I dont think this is the last of it. I had the feeling once Man U were in the final a major off field incident would happen, but I hope im wrong. A small part of me is glad we didnt make it, because at least we wouldnt have to hear about this happing to our fans and, likely, get blamed for it Rome - Roman - Abramovich - Chelsea - enemies of football - Must be our fault nice work, you should be in Nyon, they could use a man like you ;)
loz
Just about every time a British club has played in Rome in recent (ish) history people have been stabbed. Having said that it is also worth saying that a couple of utd fans have been arrested for attacking what has been described as innocent bystanders. What frustrates me is how little is done about people's behaviour when it is done in and around a football game. More often than not the country hosting the game are just interested in getting the fans out of the country rather than taking proper action and not passing the problem onto the next country. Take Athens as an example, and I do mean just as an example, we have all seen the footage, it is easy to identify people on it but I wonder how many people have actually been charged. If I carried on like that in Glasgow city centre this weekend I would be in court within a week.
