I usually hate making these welcome threads, but I feel the need to formally introduce myself.

I'm a Chelsea fan from back in the day... by which I mean pre-Abramovich... started playing football in about '93 (I was 4) but didn't start watching the game for a couple of years. Growing up in Holland it was Chelsea that grabbed my attention with Gullit especially at first. Been a fan ever since. Only managed to get to watch one proper Chelsea match, and a charity match. It was in the Uefa Cup against Valerenga. Was immense... Anyway, I digress...

I'm new to this forum, but I've been an active member of at least one forum for about 5 or 6 years now... which is a scary thought. I thought I need to join a Chelsea forum, just for some news and rumours as much as anything. On the forum I visit the most these days (simplyfm.net) I'm the only Chelsea fan, so it's kind of lonely :P
