clubhappy
Was just chatting to Loz regarding tickets , he's helping me out for Bunley . I decided to take out a membership rather than keep bothering fans here so i made enquiries with a guy i know who had a membership last year. Aparently he struggled to get tickets everytime he wanted to go to a game , 80.000 members and only 20,000 tickets up for grabs to members. Anyway , he said he'd wasted his money and never managed to get a ticket for any games he wanted to attend , and fans were on Chelsea TV last night discussing the exact same issue. So, is it worth my while taking out a membership , anybody here had similar problems.
Valerie
I never had any problem getting tickets for the matches I wanted to attend, but that's limited to 2-3 times a season AND for so-called minor matches. I suppose that if you want to go more often and to bigger games, you may experience problems now and then.
Gem
Never had a problem getting tickets as a member, always have great seats too (Shed Lower, always).
loz
Clubber, One of the main advantages you would get out of getting a membership is the 'friends' scheme. If you are a member then you can add another member as a friend as long as they agree to it. They give you their number and postcode and you set it up on your account on the official site. What that means is you are allowed to order a ticket using your own membership and their one and the seats will be together. The way it works is that whoever actually orders them gets charged for both tickets and sent them. So in a position like you are in for the Burnley match if you had two other people set up as friends who were not going to go to the game you could use your membership, and theirs, order the three tickets you need, pay for all three and have them sent direct to you. clubhappy
Thanks Loz, just took out a membership so if anybody wants to do the 'Add friend thingy' let me know . I'll probably only use my membership 3 times this season so its also available to any regulars here who want to use it . Hopefully this might sort out the Burnley game ticket issue , anyway im open to all suggestions .
loz
Clubhappy That will make things a lot easier for the Burnley game. I will get you the details you need to add my old boy as a friend and then you can order the Burnley tickets yourself and it will solve all the hassle about getting tickets sent on and sending money. It also means that you should get two tickets together. I will send you the details today or tomorrow.

Mr Chelsea
its easier to get tickets through your membership if you accumulate loyalty points also remember your membership card doubles up as a team card, where you can buy stuff and collect points on it (similar to tesco) if you check out the team card website www.teamcard.co.uk and register or log in using the barcode number on your membership card it tells you what shops and sites you can use the teamcard
Valerie
Just an after thought CLubber - is your membership an international one? If so I don't know if it works the same way as a UK one. Anyone know? It works the same. It's just that the fee for international memberships is higher (if you go for the additional bells and whistles like the magazine). jezza
Do the points i accumulated last season carry over to this season? Only for big games early in the season eg.Community shield, possibly Sp*rs then system reset to current seasons points only.
